Good value cable seems to do the job just fine

Bought 2 of these 3ft cables to connect amps to speaker cabinets. Heavy duty oxygen free 14 gauge copper cable with high quality sturdy plugs that let you identify the cable as a speaker cable and not an instrument cable simply. Quality was so good on the 3ft cables I also purchased a 20ft cable.

I have two of these and have routine issues with loud popping. I walked away from the amp into the back yard and heard loud, nasty popping through the amp and hastily ran back in to shut it down. Problem traced to this cable.

Ordered two cables in the same order - got two different cables. Both speaker cables and both the same gauge but both with slightly different cable and slightly different connectors. And slightly different length. Youd think if I ordered two, theyd send two identical ones.

This is definitely a professional grade cable. I needed a short cable for a guitar speaker cabinet and ordered this one because it looks substantial. I wasn’t disappointed! The cable itself is thick and well insulated, and the plugs are oversized. I’ll never wear it out!

I bought two of these cables as this type of cable was recommended for use in a power soak for a guitar amp. What you do with a power soak is patch it between your speaker and transformer so you can dial back the power and get the amp to have full power but at a lower volume. This allows you to run the amp at full throttle to get the sweet spot while keeping the neighbors happy. Using the cable in this manner requires it to withstand some heat and this cable performs perfectly for this use.
