I was very happy to have these on our hiking trip on the north shore of Lake Superior in February! We were hiking in knee deep snow at some points, and we had a six-yr-old along with us. She used the hot hands in her pockets, and she warmed her hands up periodically (she cant stand them in her gloves for some reason). They were really good to have, because she likes picking up wet rocks along the shoreline. I used the toe warmers in my winter boots, and I have a tip for the toe warmers. Get them heated up and in your boots about a half hour before you plan to be outside. That way they are completely activated and wont cool down during the hike or whatever you are doing outside. The first day I used them, I put them in when we were actually on the hike, because I wasnt sure Id need them. They didnt activate all the way, and only kept my toes marginally warm, but when I took my boots off, and then put them back on later to go to the pub, they were super hot! I figured they just needed time and air for full activation. These were key to our happiness on our hike. We didnt use the body warmers too much - just once, and it was nice to put on the back of my neck for extra warmth during times when we rested.

These are Great if you want to help the homeless in your neighbourhood or you are trying to save on heating aka power bill, If you live in a state where these perpetual ice storms are causing power outages and freezing cold temperatures, BUY A BOX OF HOT HAND PRODUCTS to have on deck so you and your family and friends can stay warm should the electricity go out. Keep some in your car. I use them in all of these ways and Theyve been a blessing and helped me curve my power bill whilst keeping the vagabonds in the community warm.

Can’t say enough good things about these hand, body and toe warmers. Used them in Germany when visiting the Christmas Markets this December. They stayed warm for hours. Would definitely buy again.

Slept with the largest sized one in my sleeping bag. It was still warm when I woke up. These are awesome. I’m not a big fan of the toe warmers but the variety pack is nice for the other sizes.

Value

I particularly like the hand warmers when used in a pair of hunting mittens made to hold them. Keeps the index finger warm. The body patches can greatly increase your comfort, particularly if you spend a long period of time out in cold weather, Toe warmers actually help the whole foot and are an essential in nasty weather. Why be miserable on a cold day in a deer stand?
