Purchased the Forest Teal and it does NOT have a backlight. The elderly aunt I purchased it for decided it wasnt worth sending back given the time that would take, but the description completely misrepresented this feature. As others are comment about how much they love the backlight, my best guess is that one model is listed in the description but the different color options are actually different models with different features.

I love it and it came earlier than expected

i like Chromebooks and this product has the potential if being good. My only complaint is that the screen flickers a little and the one I returned( same product) and the one currently have frozen on me

This is a GREAT Chromebook! I have no idea whats wrong with the people who had Wi-Fi connectivity issues, I was up and running out of the box in less than 5 minutes. Maybe they forgot their password? Anyway, this Chromebook is a great deal. Beautiful, clear screen, decent sound, and fairly solid build. Yes it is plastic, but it still feels solid and well-made. But really, this is all about price -- and if youre looking for a Chromebook on the cheap this Christmas, youre not going to find a better one. Completely satisfied.

I bought 25 of these computers and they are amazing. I am absoulutley in love. I bought them just because I was bored and they hooked up to the wifi immediately. I even let my personal servants use them for a bit! I was skeptical about these because I only buy apple products but I decided to give it a go. I am quite wealthy, so thats why I bought such a large amount but it was worth it. My husband wouldnt try it because its not apple but I promised him that I would buy him the car he wants so he finally agreed. Love these computers but I will never use them. I just bought them for fun.

The charger stopped working after 3 months. 7 months later the entire computer stopped working, it wont even charge. I am not dumping anymore money into this piece of crap.

Love the design,the edges , screen and the sound system is great (on top). The lighted keys are so wonderfully made uncluding, no need to have night lite lamp on. Glad I found it. Price was ok too.

Had high hopes but was a big disappointment. Within 3 weeks, the touchpad failed mechanically. Then the screen would shut off if the lid was open to a certain point. Also really dislike the way they put the little leds around the keys. If you dont have the laptop on a desk or straight below you, they get in the way of the keys, rather than help with backlight and all you see is the leds. Very disappointed. Returned and took weeks to get refund.
