HP Deskjet D2330 Printer

I had this same printer for five years and it never let me down until when moving i dropped it and broke it. It prints at a good speed and the Cartriges are not the expensive and last quite a long time before running out of toner.

After reading the reviews I decided to try it. So far, no pages are jamming up. The printer cartridge is small and, will have to be replaced frequently if used intensively. Youll have to check online for best prices for replacements. Also, its true about the lack of a black print cartridge. Mine came with a single tricolor cartridge. Other than this info, Ive no problems.

Good news. 1. Low initial price. 2. Good quality printing. Bad news. 1. One foot long power cord. 2. Very low capacity cartridges (5 ml)mean very costly printing. 3. Only one cartridge (color) comes with the printer - you have to buy a black ink cartridge - $18. You can still print in B & W, but need to buy the cartidge.

I have had this printer for about 4 months now and I have to say that for basic printing needs, it isnt that bad. I know it has a slot for photo ink, but I havent used it for that so I dont know about its photo quality. Overall I would give it a 3 star rating because its cheap and gets the job done.

Nowhere in the product description did they mentioned that the USB cable and the black ink cartridge were not included. That is at least an extra $25 you will need to factor into the total cost.

I do not remember its name, but the cable required to attach this printer to my computer WAS NOT included. I had to spend an additional $10.00 for this cable. I had bought this printer for my granddaughter, as I had bought the same printer for myself for the EXACT same amount, from Walmart, which DID INCLUDE THIS CABLE. Makes for a poor buying experience caused by deceit. Just an ole dog that keeps trying to learn all the new tricks.

I fell for the low price and was sure that I somehow lost the USB cable and tore my study apart looking for it. I finally gave up and went on line to buy a cable. I then stumbled upon these reviews and after then checked my printer instructions and sure enough, no USB cable is included and no black printer cartridge. Locally, the cable will cost $35 with tax. Then you still have to buy the black printer cartridge. Bad, bad Amazon for not warning buyers that the price does not include the printer cable and black ink cartridge! I am very disappointed in Amazon.

Its just wonderful spending your day shopping, thinking you have everything. You get home all excited to install your new printer.. only to find there is no black cartridge or USB cord. Also the ink runs out very quickly, I think I have only printed a maximum of 30 pages before it ran out. Thanks HP.

I bought one of these last Spring 2007 after returning back from Ireland and I have just smashed the thing on the floor after it continuously kept rolling the paper through halfway and getting stuck and not printing and then....ugghh! Dont buy it. I have three cartridges left and so I have to get another one of these but after a HP printer going the same way in Ireland I bought a Canon over in Dublin and it was fantastic, however because the power supply is different I gave to my brother in law and thought that I would give HP another try. Well, after just 8 months of owning the thing it just up and did itself in...so I helped to put it out of its misery.

This printer is exactly what I needed. Reasonable price tag, inexpensive ink replacement and great quality print.
