> 24 hourThis was replacing a 5+ year old laptop for me so anything new was going to feel fast, but this laptop checks all the boxes for me. I dont do anything very taxing on it but it is very snappy for web browsing, word processing, and even some light photo editing. It is very thin and lightweight and has good battery life. Personally I dont find the 360 tablet mode very useful as it feels awkward to hold since the keyboard flips around the back of the screen but the mode works fine if youre into that. Only problem Ive had with it was the fingerprint scanner stopped working after a forced update, but I was able to revert back to the previous fingerprint scanner driver and have no problems since.

> 24 hourIt’s missing some of the features of the newer HP Envy models sold in stores like Best Buy, but it’s a little cheaper. It doesn’t have a camera kill switch or a adjustable keyboard light, and it has an anti-skid pad across the top front which is a bit unappealing. However, it’s a serviceable mid range laptop. Works in terms of not being trapped in Windows 10 S. It also has decent battery life (5ish hours of streaming on battery before dropping under 10%). Reliable, but not lightning fast. If you’re interested in gaming, it can run some older games just fine; Diablo 3 ran well at typical settings, Starcraft 2 ran, but was ugly.

> 24 hourPurchased two days ago, arrived yesterday, and so this review is NOT based on longevity (Ill come back in a month or two for that), but on features, build quality, and overall feel. Build quality out of the box is good. Body is aluminum and has a nice MacBook (I have an older Mac Air) feel to it. Not much flex when typing (Im using it for this review), chiclet keys have a good feel to them, and not too cramped, which I like. Back-lit keys are a necessity for me (once youve had them, you never want one without) and this has silver keys with a white backlight. Very clean look. Screen looks great, full HD 1080p, which on a 15 screen is perfect (4k just seems like overkill on a small screen). Boots FAST, shuts down fast, of course with a solid state hard drive (the future of all computers) no hard drive bottleneck. Fingerprint scanner (on right side near the - button works most of the time, but honestly, putting in a 4 digit pin is just about as fast. BIG touchpad, with great response. And finally, HP did it right with the Intel i5 and i7 (not Ryzen) models, room to expand. Yes, just pop the bottom cover off, and voila!, you have a spare hard drive bay, and guess what, they installed a single 8GB stick of ram and left the other ram slot empty, so no ditching your existing ram to upgrade. Just purchase another 8GB stick of DDR4 laptop ram and pop it in, 16GB. One downside is the empty hard drive bay does not have the cable you need to go from hard drive to motherboard, and Im still not sure where to get it. If you find one post below and let me know. Okay, thats it...with 18 months same as cash, this is a great laptop. Sell your old one on eBay! Hope this helps. :)

> 24 hourVery nice used laptop, works well. The mouse pad sensitivity may be a little worn out it takes a firm touch but I bought a wireless mouse which is more comfortable to use anyways. The touchscreen itself works very well. I am enjoying the computer, I bought it mainly to use Photoshop and it has a great screen for digital art. I liked the price for this quality of computer.
