THE HP PHOTO PRINTER WAS NOTHING BUT A PIECE OF JUNK! A VERY PRICIE PIECE OF JUNK. IT DID NOT WORK AT ALL. THE COLOR WAS AS IF THE INK WAS NEARLY EMPTY NOT NEW. I HAVE ANOTHER ONE THAT I BOUGHT SEVERAL YEARS AGO THAT STILL WORKS & WAS TRYING TO GET A REPLACEMENT BEFORE IT QUIT . DIDNT HAPPEN . I WILL KNOW BETTER ANOTHER TIME. I HAVENT HAD VERY GOOD LUCK AT ALL WITH ANYTHING THAT I HAVE BOUGHT ON ANAZON.

Printer works just fine, but the sample ink cartridge that came with it had expired in 2008 (8 years prior to my purchasing the item in 2016). Had to buy a new one before being able to use the printer.

I bought this product on sale and am very happy with it. I have an all-in-one that does pictures but it is to much of a bother to set-up the tray every time I want to print pictures. The A526 prints directly from the memory card. The pictures look great! I am very impressed with the quality of the prints. Great alternative to driving to a print shop or waiting for the mail!Good product!Good price.

Just bought this on sale and am pleased with the quality of the prints. I had a kodak printer in the past and had planned on buying another to replace my broken one but couldnt beat the price I found this for. However, I agree with the person who said they could have included the wire to connect it to a PC. But when I need a quick picture printed it comes in handy. I AM having problems using a thumb drive with it but am not sure if its the thumb drive itself or the printer.

I bought this printer & gave it for a Christmas package. I tried to use it before I gave it away & it did a good job of printing pictures.

This printer makes pretty good prints, as long as you get them to the printer exactly how you want them to be printed. There are no photo editing options on this printer, except for the red-eye repair function (which has yet to work once for me.) I also just realized that only the SD card slot will read cards. I tried an XD memory card and four different USB flash drives and got memory card error for all of them. In order to print pictures from my new camera, I have to transfer them to my computer and then to an SD card. Annoying. Overall, I think this printer would be great for a teenager just wanting to share pictures with friends, but not really good for adults who want a higher quality picture and the ability to edit the picture before it prints.

The photo clarity is very good. It is also light and easy to carry. I feel that they could put a full cartridge in the package and also the cable to connect to the computer. It does a good job and I would buy it again.

This printer is ok if you are printing photos with light backgrounds, but if the background in the photo is dark the printer makes it darker. Seems to darken everything up, and there is no way to adjust the brightness that I can see. The instructions that it comes with are not great, and I found little support for it online. I do like that its compact and easy to use, just wish the photo quality was a little bit better.
