> 24 hourWhen I was looking for a printer to replace my Photosmart 1215, I looked at both the Canon Pixma and Epson products before deciding to buy the D7360. This printer produces gorgeous photographs on photo paper, and excellent quality text on normal inkjet paper. Graphics and photos printed on normal inkjet paper also look very good. The printer is very easy to setup and use, and the touch screen makes it as easy to print photos directly from the printer as from the computer. There are some gotchas, however. Unless you turn off HPs photo fix, which is on by default, all photographs have a bronze cast, which is especially noticeable in skin tones. There seems to be no way to tell the printer to leave photo fix off by default. Also, although the printer powers up quickly most of the time, every once in a while it goes through an internal setup sequence. This usually takes about 10 to 15 seconds and is very, very noisy. The printer uses significantly less ink than my Photosmart 1215. HP says you can get 150 4 by 6 photos using one set of ink cartridges, and they sell an ink and photo paper package for $36.00. I found that I had to replace the yellow ink while the other cartridges were more than half full (approximately 80 photos). Maybe I just got a bad yellow ink cartridge. Other than the issues mentioned, Im very pleased with the printer, and compared to my last printer, Im saving a bunch of money on ink cartridges.

> 24 hourThis was a great high quality printer; but HP no longer makes the ink cartriges. Other manufactures inks do not work in this printer as the on board computer rejects them.

> 24 hourThe D7360 is an amazing printer. I purchased my previous HP Photosmart printer 3-4 years ago (it still works fine and is hooked-up to another PC)but the D7360 is light-years ahead of it in terms of speed and overall performance. I do lots of draft-quality printing and the speed of this printer in draft mode is simply incredible. The quality in draft mode is good. I have printed about 20 photographs(of different sizes)and I am quite pleased with the printing speed and photo image quality. My previous Photosmart didnt print 5X7 photographic prints but this one does. I love the increased size of the small, lift-up touch screen on top of the printer. Its easy to work with. Two final comments: First, the printer makes some interesting wrrrring and buzzing sounds as it prepares itself for printing but my sense is everything is ok. Second, and the only negative comment is that the black printing of narratives done in the General Everyday Printing mode isnt really black. Its a lighter black...with not much contrast. Thats also the case, but to a lesser degree, in the presentation printing mode. Hope this helps in your decision.

> 24 hourThis printer is great for home use after a few years it starts giving you trouble!I have had three of them, the pictures start coming out darker then normal, ink starts leaking, paper tray starts sticking getting hard to close. It wont calibrate itself just keeps sliding the unused paper out and tells you to load unused white paper in the printer and press ok. The paper tray clips get weak and wont hold the paper. But it prints out great pictures while its working for the first year and a half or maybe two. When you print 8x10 the alignment was always off always had white on one side of the paper.I just ordered a new one because I need it so if this one lasts a yr and a half I bout the two yr warranty so Ill make them fix it which will probably be a waste because of time and shipping. wish me luck......

> 24 hourYes it is amazing that a simple purchase of a printer for an elderly gentleman, a vet, can use with ease of having had one some years which no longer worked. Every day he comes to work at our nonprofit Pet Guardian Angel Welfare in El Paso. He is bent over from age and scoliosis but driven to help unwanted, abandoned pets he is often in extreme pain. This printer was his link to printing the photos to mail to donors and use for our internet and other purposes. It worked like a charm. He had been upset by not having a working printer and we did buy a reconditioned on which stopped working within the guarantee and never worked right. He had said Id give anything to find a brand new printer like this but they dont make them any more and other printers do not print in this foremat. I said Ill bet I can find one and I did so the wheels of our small nonprofit are grinding much better now with this great new printer.

> 24 hourIf youre looking exclusively for a photo printer, this is a good choice. Its easy to set up and easy to use. You can print direct from the camera, or from the computer. The printer can tell what kind of paper youre using & adjusts print quality accordingly. On glossy photo paper, the photo prints are excellent. However, if youre like me and need one printer for all your needs -- photo & home office printing of paper, envelopes, labels & business cards, this printer is a bad choice. The paper trays are layered on top of each other and tucked into the machine, making them a hassle to unload and load different papers. The trays also hold a VERY small amount of paper, requiring frequent reloading, even if youre just using plain paper. Lastly, the trays also feel flimsy and are sure to break after repeated paper switches. (You have to lift the top tray up and pull the bottom tray out to load & unload and then snap back into place). I also couldnt get it to print envelopes. (Printer doesnt line up with envelope feeder, printing text off the envelope instead of on). Im very disappointed with this purchase & am hoping Amazon.com accepts returns.

> 24 hourDid not realized that this printer was discontinued. And although it was still in the original box and packaging, the set up ink was old and would not load. Contacted HP and got a big run a round until someone finally exlained that there would not be any new set up ink packages for this machine because it was out of date and discontinued. Contacted Amazon, got approval to ship back to the seller. It was an expensive purchase. I was out the return shipment cost to get a refund. A $40 lesson. Will not buy from other people selling thru the Amazon site.

> 24 hourI have printed about 50 4x6 photos since I got this printer for Christmas. The photos were great and much better than my previous Canon i850 printer. Using the best setting and HP Advanced paper, the photos were as good as lab photos. However, something else to consider is that the printhead in the printer is not replaceable (at least not by the consumer). I asked HP for an idea of the life of the printhead, and they said it will last as long as the printer. (but how long will the printer last?). Anyway, I am hoping the printer will last at least 5 years. I dont want that printhead to fail! Another fact is that the HP 02 color ink cartridges only have about 6 ml ink each. My old canon printer has 13 ml in each cartridge. Also, when turned on, the printer does take quite a while before it is operational, making clicking and clacking noises, before it will actually print anything. But so far the printer is excellent in photo quality, and only time will tell whether the printer is reliable. ***Revised 12/13/2007: One year after purchase and the printer still works great! Great photos, and great general printing. I think Im going to get another one just for the heck of it!

> 24 hourI bought this printer because Amazon had it for even cheaper than a lower model when compared with other places to buy it. Except for a little difficutly installing the drivers (more to do withy my computer though), this printer has been great. It is my first PhotoSmart printer, so I dont have much to compare it to except for an old deskjet, but the photo prints are really good when used with the best HP paper. Also, I love to switch the printer in black/white draft mode....it prints faster than my laser printers at work. Im taking one start off my rating because of the difficulty installing the drivers. Other than that, quite a bargain.

> 24 hourItem came ontime, However ink leaked out and covered entire printer but after cleaning it up with alcohol print works great. Not easy to find so I am relieved the spillage didnt damage it.
