HTC Vive Tracker (3.0) & Vive Base Station

short version: amazing trackers theyre highly suggested if you want full body tracking now that last long, light weight, pretty small and you cant wait for anything thats coming to the market. more detailed version: i really wanted to get full body tracking already and at the time of writing this tundra trackers and slimevr havent came out yes (which i suggest taking a look at them if they were already released when youre reading this) so i only had the choice between 2.0 to 3.0 vive trackers and i got the 3.0. the 3.0 vive trackers are amazing, theyre pretty light weight and i personally cant feel any weight drags from them on my legs and hip and the battery life is the same as index controllers so i dont have to stop playing vr earlier because they died first, and their size is pretty small but you can still something bump them when you cross your legs but it was expected and cant be fix by sliding them around your leg.

Theres no getting around it, I was using a kinect and driver 4 vr but was running into too many tracking issues. Once I sprung for these Ive been kicking myself for not doing it sooner. Be sure to buy a good usb 3.0 hub, and a separate usb charging hub that goes straight to mains power as charging the trackers from your pc takes too many usb resources at least in my experience.

These are awesome! Dispite the price they are a expensive item so keep this in mind but its the top of tech right now. Its mostly for games like vrchat so I wouldnt reccomend it if you are hoping it works on all games.

I got these to help replace some trackers I let drown in my dogs water bowl. They themselves work fine, any problems should come from water damage, blunt force damage, and/ the base stations. The work as long as you know what youre doing

Got 3 of them for my valve index and they work beautifully. Maybe purchase more in the future but definitely worth the money.

After around a year of use and a couple of drink spills, they’re still running great. They’re a breeze to connect to steam vr for me and the battery life hasn’t seemed to degrade very much.

Id love to give 5 stars but knocking one-off for the price being steep along with I had to tinker a bit to get the third one to pair correctly. If you are having trouble paring I did so by turning off and repairing one that was good to the tracker that wouldnt pair, that did the trick and just like that I was off to dance and party in vr.

All the trackers work as intended, the only issue I had was with one of them I had to turn them on differently and it was kind of a process to connect it. The other two went smooth and honestly they last 4 hours before dying which is super awesome i love them sm <3
