These don’t lose tracking randomly like my 2.0s did, and the battery is way better(at least double). Worth the upgrade since they last as long as index controllers.

I dont recommend getting this tiny device if you plan on playing video games with it, price will definitely come down exponentially in the coming months so be patient. Now if your an animator, this is a MUST cop. Ikinema Orion or VRIK will give you very high quality mocap data. Especially VRIK if you tweak the settings a bit. If you have 10 trackers, VRIK and a lot of space in your basement or garage, the quality/accuracy is comparable to Xsens, maybe 80% there. Ikinema Orion is amazing but pricey, $500/yr is not worth it compared to VRIK, I already had VRIK so I just spent $500 on more trackers rather than the Ikinema software. The more trackers, the better.

I bought a vive 3.0 directly from HTC, a physical store, and lastly Amazon and everything was identical. I got all the components brand new and had no issue connecting them to my pc. If you have been in vr for a while full body trackers make the whole experience extremely immersive and entertaining. The Vive trackers are always perfectly tracked whether its 2.0 or 3.0 trackers. The battery life is so much better on the new ones, so if you can spare the slight increase in price you can get almost double the hours. Just make sure you have plentiful USB ports to spare, base stations, at least 3 trackers, and dont forget straps are not included. (I recommend Tundra Labs for foot straps, and I have a positive opinion on Kiwi VR straps for a solid set of 3 body straps)

It sounds weird but in a game like VRChat, these make everything feel more real. Even if youre just sitting in front of a mirror for a couple hours. Its an experience, and definitely not one everybody can afford. If you get the chance to try it out, go for it.

Great tracking and the battery life is fanatic. I get around 8 hours for them and I mainly play VRChat when i use them. I also use them with my Quest 2. So if you were curious if they worked with the Oculus Quest 2, they do and you can even use them while using virtual stream on your quest which is even nicer. You can move around without any cord. Just dont forget, if you do use the quest 2, you will have to use a special vr program to run config them.
