Easy to mix up with water. I used the bottles left over from another kit I had bought. Poured about 1/3 of the dye into the 6 ounce bottle, added water to the top and shook up. Mixed easily and poured out as expected. The colors are really nice and bright and they haven’t washed out after the initial rinsing. I will be buying this again. It’s way more cost effective than buying the kits in the store, especially once you have the bottles left over to mix them in. Just make sure you don’t get the powder wet before you are ready to mix. And be sure to mix right before you are ready to use because usually with this kind of dye, the colors fade as the dye sits. Next project is to try an ice dye with them!!!

We dyed 7 shirt and still have some left. Very bright colors. Extremely pleased.

These are great. The kit comes with a ton of different colors and the dyi is very concentrated. Our t-shirts turned out really nice. I would recommend this kit for a summer fun activity with family and friends.

We had a great time using this kit. None of us had ever tie dyed before so this was a new adventure. We did this outside but the kit even included a plastic tablecloth. Its very thin plastic so some color go through but it did a good job of keeping this less messy than expected. You also get a bunch of plastic gloves and our hands were completely clean when we were done. The kit has every color we could have wanted, plus some. You get small plastic scoops to measure the dry color out and then funnels to get it cleanly into the bottles. They even have pre-printed labels for the bottles so you can keep track of what color you just made. We were ready to go! The instructions provide steps on how to get certain tie dyed effects. We used some of them and they definitely worked. The bottles make enough dye that you can use each color on multiple shirts. The only thing you may need more of are the plastic bags for storing the shirts after theyre dyed. We had a bunch of gallon freezer bags on hand and they worked just fine. When we rinsed the shirts off after the 24 hours, barely any dye came off and they kept their color. We did 6 shirts that day and still have colors that we havent even used yet plus leftover. The box is tall enough too that you can store the bottles standing up until next time. Highly recommend as a fun, family activity!!

They dyed the shirt and didn’t fade

Great product. I have tye-dyed about a dozen times so I have all the supplies needed, I just needed the powder. There were a couple reviews that had me on the fence about this product but I took a chance and ordered. It worked great. On average I would say you could dye about 5 adult t-shirts with this set. The key is to completely saturate your items and the longer you let your item soak the better the dye will take on your items. This product sat (at the very least) 36 hours (some items longer) on the items in the picture.

Super easy to use. Kids loved it. Colors werent as vibrant as wed wished they would be but we also used cheap shirts so could have been that. But the kids had a blast and love their shirts

I just realized that I got 2 Dark Blue and no Black for the colors, its whatever to me because I didnt really have plans to use black. This is a great kit though, came with 2 table covers (they are super thin and rip super easy so work on a surface you dont care about), gloves, rubber bands, and the nice thing was bags to put the dyed products into while they set (only 4 bags though). I left mine for over 24 hours, other kits Ive used had 6-8 hours, so Im wondering if thr 24 hours is the way to go. Not a lot of color rinsed out, so that was nice. Ill definitely be sharing this kit with others to try, Ill be buying it again!
