Great product and works very well. I’m impressed about its features and the protection it give my RV

I dont need anything super fancy and this device gives you the protection that you need without all the bells and whistles that come with a higher price.

Our new motorhome has a built in surge protector but it’s manufacture suggested we put an inline surge protector, as a voltage surge would require a $900 repair. I had good luck with the Hughes 30 amp protector, so I ordered this one. It’s important to note that this model uses a different phone app than the top of the line Hughes protector. Both apps work great though.

It’s the older model but does the same thing and does have Bluetooth. Good buy for the price

I have the 50amp version and I have no issues with it. It was easy to install and use. I like the ability to see right away if the power is right and I dont have an open neutral or ground. The Bluetooth function is pretty cool. I can see how amps each leg is pulling with both A/Cs running and some lights and such on.

Ive had this Hughes Autoformers PWD50 Portable Bluetooth Surge Protector - 50 Amp, for about a year and a half now! I have been very pleased with my purchase! It is also nice to have an app that you can read from inside your camper that shows the actual voltage on both lines of the 50 amp circuit (and NO they arent always identically the same voltage), as well as the amps, watts, and hertz. It is easy to use.....turn off the 50 amp shore power breaker, plug in the Hughes to shore power, turn on the 50 amp breaker for the 50 amp outlet and wait until the dog face light turns white, then turn off the circuit breaker again and plug in your RV to the Hughes! If the dog face turns red initially, dont plug in your RV, but rather read the error code in the lower right corner on the face of the Hughes and compare it to the error codes that are printed on the surge protector itself to you can diagnose the problem yourself.

There is nothing to dislike, the Bluetooth connects flawlessly and at long distance, protects your camper while telling you your exact energy usage.

the product did exactly what I needed to do - Used it on my Generator that feeds my house. I was able to identify what loads I can successfully support and calculate how much time and fuel I will need in the event of a grid outage. It takes the guess work out of what load is drawing on the generator.

I feel confident at the portion of my investment of my RV. I like the app and the ability to look at the power consumption. it has the ring to add a lock.
