I got the multicolor and white bakers twine set for use on some Christmas stockings I was making. The ones last year had red and white twine, so I wanted to use a different color this time. With 15 different colors, the difficulty was in choosing which I wanted to use! The colors were true to the listing image. I used dark blue and white, green and white and light purple and white, and they did not bleed color when they were wetted with water or with different kinds of glue on them. The twine is easy to cut but I couldnt break it otherwise. Im not sure if I would use it for jewelry though as it is 100% cotton (and soft!) and would not stay smooth with repeated wearing like a waxed linen or hemp fiber. This is 2mm wide. If you need to picture that, a nickel is 2mm thick. You cant use it for pet toys as you risk them eating it. And while its cotton, you dont want to risk it getting tangled up inside them. Each spool comes in a small, individual bag, and they are all together in a larger bag. I apparently am not coordinated enough to open the small bags in such a way that I could re-use them as storage for the spool, but they fit into the snack sized ziploc bags. The small bags had a bit of plastic odor, but it did not stick to the product. I wish Id gotten these before I got the red and white spool I got last year; I really love all the colors!

This is very nice, sturdy twine. It is not as thin as some and not as thick as Doodlebug Chunky or Lawn Fawn’s. I’m impressed with the quality and good color. Some twines are mostly white with a small strip of color, not this, it is at least a 50/50 ratio. Nice big rolls too. Picture to show scale next to my mouse.

I was so surprised when I opened the package. The colors were pretty and bright. Each spool was smaller than i thought but found that there is a lot of string on them. Really happy with order and would purchase again.

I purchased this to tie packages. I was a little worried these wouldn’t give much string per spool, but there’s been plenty to go around for several packages. I love having the variety of colors to choose from or combine combinations.

I liked the price and the assortment for crafts.
