this part was the exact same one that originally came with the unit and arrived unopened and works perfectly fine

WORKS WELL

As stated, these are good for about two years. All Humminbird and Lowrance trannys are junk, but these are better than most.

This transducer is specifically for the 587 DI Humminbird Depth-finder. Amazon had it in stock when none else had it and the price was a good deal as well.

I mounted this on my boat and it worked perfectly. Its been on there quite some time and rides with no faults.

works great, better than the previous unit. Changed the mounting location according to the new literature and it works even running at fast speed.

After the squirrels destroyed my transducer cable over the winter I was forced to buy a new transducer, as cable can not be spliced, put my boat in my pond and it worked fine showing fish, SI also worked well-----great definition and clarity---------------Leaving for a trip to Canada in a week and will be able to give it a real workout------but have no reason to believe it wont be great
