I purchased this transducer to convert my boat use helix 7 to use on the ice , barely 2 months into the season and the transducer craps out on me , very disappointed in your product . Go back to the drawing board Hummingbird , this product is inferior and should have been perfected by r and d before ever being introduced to the market . Im going to dust off my 25 year old Vexilar f l 18 and forget about using my Helix on the ice . Get with the program Hummingbird , if Vexilar can build a transducer that last me 25 plus years then what seems to be your problem ? Extremely disappointed in Hummingbird .

Works good exactly what I wanted

Used for my helix 5 chirp.

I put this on a helix 7 for ice fishing works fine but I think vexilar has there transducer down. This hummingbird needs to be weighed down wanders around the hole. Other than that seams fine.

Love the fact I can use my gen 2 hexix 5 GPS chirp si all year around with this add-on ice transducer. Getting the most bang for the buck from one product. Thanks Hummingbird.

The start of ice season the transducer worked great on my Helix 5 and the I started having all kinds of issues. I like to hole hop and I was not able to get any bottom readings at all. The entire graph was reading all kinds of weird interference. I had to finally factory reset and the transducer still didnt read right all the time. Very disappointed. I bought the Helix so I could jump from boat fishing to ice fishing.

As expected for a humminbird product.
