> 3 dayIve had mine for 3 yrs now. Some of the pockets blew out over time but I stuffed some cardboard in there and theyre fine. My only gripe is they stopped making the kid organizer for this thing. WHY?! THAT THING WAS AWESOME! It could be a stool or a seat. I kept sockets and nut drivers in there. Theyre are 1 or 2 other products that are similar but theres was the best.

15-04-2025I tend to research just about everything I buy. I selected this unit for a number of reasons...general durability, price, pocket placement, lid fit, ability to live a long time in mineral oil, etc Besides having enough pockets for my hand tools and side pockets for medium length tool, my Home Depot bucket lid fits over it. Maybe not perfectly, but quite well enough. I cut a hole in the top-back of the lid so longer handled tools can fan out with the lid on forming a backed-stool to sit on. I put fine grit sand in the bucket itself and impregnated it with mineral oil . You can store rusty tools in there and generally use the sand to stab your tools into to clean them off. It is in fact heavy as hell so gauge your choices carefully (how deep, how oily, etc.) Theres only one real downside...you lose your water bucket!!! So!...I bought a collapsible five gallon bucket that when folded fits into a side pocket! So youve got a tool maintaining/cleaning carry-all for every length of tool, a stool and your 5 gal water carrying capacity. It could also easily be formatted for fishing. And if you want comfort...just add a pad of memory foam to your bucket lid. Instead of mineral-oiled sand...fishing is better with iced beer.
