I am having a major surgery and was told Carmex will help diminish the scar better than most lotions. I bought the 8 pack of 1 oz tubes of Carmex just for that reason. However, I started putting it on my hands because my skin dries out, cracks, and bleeds in the Cleveland, Ohio winter. Well, this stuff works great. My fingers do not get greasy in any way and the Carmex lotion healed my cracked hands in a matter of several days. This is the 1st winter that I dont have cracked/bleeding hands. I am actually impressed. I found something that actually works. I see some folks complain about price. Finding something that actually works is worth a bit more coin. Cheap lotions are nothing but greasy cheap lotion. This is not greasy, and it works well. After my knee replacement, I will update my review regarding how Carmex works on the scar

My daughter daughter used it 30 years ago and I keep buying it for every child that comes in my family or friends.

Same smell as when I used it on my kids, now they are using it for their kids.

I have no idea how this scores a 4.8 in customer satisfaction. There are no instructions in English, so I am having to guess. The item will only work if I remove the silver top, but without the top the blades seem, to me, to be dangerous. I think the silver top is supposed to be on because there is an additional clear top that appears to be used for storage. If there were instructions maybe I could figure it out.
