good quality grommets. i was worried they would be cheap but i was wrong. i would definitely buy them again.

The inside hole (id) is 1/2 diameter...it will not fit inside of a 1/2 hole (which would be OD of 1/2) Bamboozled again!

I bought these with Hydrofarm AAEL50 Active Aqua (10 Pack), 1/2 Elbow Connector, 1/2-Inch, Black, based on reviews and comments for other buyers. The grommet and the elbow complemented each other for a perfect fit. I used them to make self-watering 5-gallon bucket planters. The grommet seated perfectly in 3/4 drilled-out hole. The elbow just slipped right in. The rubber material was smooth and elastic, not rough and cracked as happened to old rubber.

This gromet is rather small to be using with PVC however, use 3/8 pipe and you should be good to go!

Used these to construct drain line on a 3 gal RDWC bucket system. I was concerned at first that they might seep but there have been zero issues. Simple solution
