Greater than one weekI bought the balloon pump for my sisters baby shower in April and decided to practice using it. When I unboxed it, it was clear that it wasn’t brand new (see pics). Upon plugging it in and turning it on, I found the motor to be very loud. The balloons on the nozzles wouldn’t inflate no matter how I held them. And the nozzles and pump was getting hot to the touch. I wasn’t able to inflate one balloon and don’t feel that it’s safe to use/try again. Thankfully I’m seeing this now and not the day of the event.

This electric balloon pump is designed with two operation modes, one automatic and one semi-automatic. Please choose the right mode for different balloons. If the automatic mode is too fast, then please choose semi-automatic(press-on) mode, which will avoid blowing balloons burst. When using the semi-automatic mode, just simply plug in the pump, leave the power switch to "the off" position and press the nozzle to inflate. If stops pressing, inflation will stop as well.
Operating Steps:
- Pinch two sides of the mouth of the balloon with your fingers.
- Cover the inflation port with the balloon.
- Inflate the balloon by pushing the inflation port down.
- Release inflation port when balloon size is suitable.
