If I could give a negative 10 rating, this thing earned it! This is not a real label printer, let alone a professional one and it does not work remotely close to as advertised. It does interface with Etsy but it is not plug and play, it is not user friendly and it does not print decent resolution mailing labels. The directions included are clear, but they dont fix any of the problems we encountered when attempting to get the product work. Im computer savvy and my husband spent a career in IT so we know printers and how to make them work but in spite of about 5 hours of effort between the two of us attempting to get this to work, it was an epic fail! The labels print mouse size, the labels print going to wrong direction and the print quality is poor on the best setting available. The only way to print a label of reasonable size on the size label included is to download it as a PDF and manipulate it using other software. Then once it prints, the BEST quality is so poor, I would never put it on a customers order! And, this thing blew through the stack of included labels just testing it while trying to set it up. Clearly this product was not tested, not designed properly, not programmed correctly and is a total disaster! Ive included pictures of the labels that came off this printer and yes, the labels are as small as shown, even though it was set for the size label provided and all the instructions in the manual were followed. Dont waste your money, buy a name brand that will get the job done and actually print professional quality labels.

This is so easy to install and print labels with. It saves you time and money not having to go to the post office. This is a wonderful value. I would recommend this.

Seems a little basic on the software side; 15 megabytes for the driver. Instructions: Install driver, make sure the printer is turned off. In Windows OS they tell you to open the system settings> Printers & Scanners>choose IMMER Label Printer SP1. (Note: under driver web location it gives you iimer (two is) but under settings printer it doesnt show up at all until I turned the printer on, a detail they should have covered considering they told you to turn the printer off before installation of the driver. Okay, so I turned it on after loading the driver, and it showed up in the list. When you clock on that it takes you to the right page, but there is no advance button to click on as they instruct you to do. (So far, precision is totally lacking) Since no advance button was available, I tried properties which was in the list, and that led me to Paper available and the 100mm x 150mm was the only option available, you couldnt choose it, so I left it as the default. There are not instructions on how to install the paper, let alone getting the registration/placement right. So, I installed the sample paper provided so it just touched the roller, and then chose print test page, and it worked, yet the last line was cut off in the middle. It did arrive at the precise spot which is incredibly narrow between the sheets and lines up with the sharp teeth to tear the page in between labels. The label said, you installed it correctly. There is not any margin for error. There must be a 1/16 gap between the printable sheets, yet the print test pages showed the same cut off of the last sentence between the provided print test page. If they cant get that right, how can I expect my custom labels to work right? I ran the troubleshooter and it checked for errors. The only error it found was that this IIMER label printer was not the default printer. I tried printing existing shipping labels and couldnt get it to work properly. I couldnt create something in MS Word without error messages showing up when trying to print, relative to margins and other settings. I must admit printing Word documents is not what this is designed for. I cant recommend this. I have the Phomemo Thermal Printer for 4x6 shipping labels, and havent had any of these problems. Back to the drawing board. Failure is the key to success. My suggestion to IIMER is the keep moving forward.

A little bigger than I expected it to be. I have a very small desk and this takes up a lot of room that I did not expect. That is the only reason for the four-star rating. However it works very well it comes with a nice supply of labels and I am overall pleased with his performance and set up was quite easy.

If you print from one computer, or only from machines on a shared network, this appears to be a good choice. In retrospect, I probably should have gotten one with WiFi rather than hardwired USB only. I was hoping this printer would allow me to connect using AirPrint so I could print from my phone. But so far, no luck. AirPrint does not recognize it, even with some of the online tricks for getting around that very issue. Now Im looking at USB-WiFi print server adapters, trying to find one that I will be happy with. Other than that, it is build like a brick, and more or less weighs like one. No complaints about materials or construction quality. The download instructions in the manual didnt quite match the actual process, so beware. And you may get a lot of antivirus warnings along the way, too. But the driver did load finally successfully, and thankfully didnt ask for my email address. I find it odd that in setup, 4 X 6 label size can only be specified in millimeters (100X150mm) with Windows, but in inches on a Mac. However, it turns out the printer auto detects the size anyway after you load labels. They send a short stack of those to get you going. The feed guide at the back is already preset. When you insert the first label, it auto feeds one, detects size, then reverses it back ready to print. Makes setup easy. And it prints really fast, like in a second or so. I was expecting the label to slowly roll out like my inkjet, but its over and done quickly. One thing I really just dont like is the how they positioned the power and USB cable connections. They are right below the paper feed, and the power connection has a ferrite cord barrel on it to add bulk just 3 past the back panel. The problem here is that these two cables, with their connectors and that barrel, are right where you might expect to stack your fan-fold labels. As I see it, you get three choices. One is to try and bend the cables to one side, which still require a couple of inches. Or you can place the paper way back, which requires a fair amount of real estate given the paper stack itself is 6 long. Or you can do what I finally did: find a small box lid the paper can sit on, route the cables either to the side, or cut an opening in front and back of box lid, and run cables under the lid with the fan-fold labels sitting on top. I finally cut the openings and ran wires under after the photos were taken testing the box lid idea. Im just thinking there had to be another way to place the connectors so they route the cables differently, allowing the paper stack to sit directly behind. I guess you could also buy labels in rolls, which are more expensive, then buy a holder for that. But Im one who doesnt like making recurring costs more than needed, and the roll takes up just a much space when new (and is taller), so I turned that option down. Otherwise, as I said, Im now looking for a USB-WiFi print server box so I can print from my phone. Keep this in mind if you do any smartphone printing, too. But if not, other than the cable routing gaff, its a good solid quick and small label printer that does a nice job.

This printer is well made and in my testing performed fine, however no wifi is a big missing feature for one of these in 2023, even in 2018. If you are OK with hard-wiring it directly to one PC, this wont disappoint and does seem well made.
