> 3 dayI used these to stop my toddler from turning on the water. He gets in the sink and turns the water on and just as I get to him, he will turn the cold water off! We had a few close calls. This is only day 2 of them being installed but so far so good! He cant turn the water on! These have such great adhesion that I couldnt even reposition it to give me more room to operate it. I cant rate these for doors because thats not what I bought them for but if you need something to keep someone from turning on the water, its working great!

> 3 dayI have a Maine Coon cat named Flynn that likes to open doors. I bought these and now he cant open the doors. He does other things too. Ive had to buy child safety locks for the stove and garbage disposer. Flynn is a clever cat. I keep buying things from Amazon to stop him from doing things that he shouldnt do.

> 3 dayIf your toddler is like mine, they pull down on the handle instead of up. We figured out that putting them on upside down prevented him from getting through the doors and made life much easier when we used the doors!

> 3 dayThey definitely work which is the upside. They do take two hands to maneuver and my family that has more arthritic hands find them a bit difficult but they work and my toddler has not figured them out yet. And they’ve been installed about 2 months- no difficulty staying in place or installing.

> 3 dayOur little grandkids are always so excited to run to open the front door with lever handles. Definitely a great thing to ensure that the lever can be locked and unable to open, even if both little hands try it. Be aware of a couple of things. 1) Difficult to unlock with one hand, but easy to press both sides of the buttons with two hands. 2) Wont work on doors with full-pane glass, but that is only on the back door. Overall, this is a great value, and we have all all of our doors (without full glass). Would be nice to have: more options on color so that this is not so obvious, or options for full-pane glass doors!

> 3 dayThis one certainly keeps the toddler out of the room! But it’s annoying to lock compared to the kind that has the bottom piece which slips side to side. That one is easier to lock since it requires one hand. But this one definitely does it’s job so I’m definitely happy with it overall

Greater than one weekThis has saved us from having to jump up and down every 5 seconds to run after our toddler opening doors. Literally will buy one for every door haha. 10/10!

> 3 dayWe used these on our linen closets & our basement door. I love that they use adhesive - no unsightly screw marks in my doors! They work great - I installed them upside down, per another review - and it works VERY well. Since the “stationary” arm is under the door handle, I can leave the movable arm in the unlocked position all the time (which will make them last longer!) - my 2.5 year old can only pull the handle down (which the stationary arm blocks the movement) so it keeps her safe - and when she learns to open the door handle up, I’ll lock them.
