Adhesion is very strong and built to last. Just installed these tonight and discovered something I didnt consider. If the locked portion is engaged, you cannot open a door from the inside of a room. My daughter likes to play in her room to get some relief from her rambunctious toddler brother. She will have to lock her bedroom door otherwise if the childproof lock is engaged she would not be able to get out of her room without someone unlocking the childproof lock. We may have to look for alternative options. Otherwise very pleased with the product.

Since our toddler pulls the handle down, we found it much easier to adhere this upside down compared to the directions. This made it much easier yo just leave the (now) top up until our toddler starts to push the handle up. Having it upside down also made it much less awkward yo reach under the handle yo push the side button in and drop the stopper.

The product does work well with handle doors. Not sure how well it will come off when its time to take it off... hopefully it does not take the paint on the door with it...But until then, the product works as described. My two toddlers tried to get into their grandmas room and other dangerous attic spaces, but as soon as these went up, they gave up. Not that they didnt try for a good minute to crack the safe, but alas they gave up and Im a happy mother, one less thing to worry about in a million others!

First off, install upside down so the flap can go upwards. 2nd, this isnt going anywhere. It will most likely remove the paint on a door.

These work great! So easy to install and easy to lock and unlock. Strong adhesive. I would highly recommend if you have these style doorknobs in your house.

They definitely work which is the upside. They do take two hands to maneuver and my family that has more arthritic hands find them a bit difficult but they work and my toddler has not figured them out yet. And they’ve been installed about 2 months- no difficulty staying in place or installing.

I installed one in our front door because my daughter is tall enough to reach and open door. One night we forgot to disengage the lock and someone tried to get in the house. Because of this item the thieves were not able to come in. The adhesive is very strong but come off easily with a little adhesive remover.
