Got this for my girlfriend to put her cats ashes in and wear around her neck. She loves it. She didn’t use the chain cause she felt like the other one she had was better. It only holds alittle ashes in the head part so you don’t need that much.

The chain isnt overly long, so it hangs at just the right height to be seen while also being just the right size to be noticed. My Baby Girl (cat) passed away just shy of her 23rd birthday this year, and it being winter, the ground was too hard to bury her so I had her cremated instead. I have the rest of her ashes in an actual urn, but I wanted a way to take her with me wherever I go so I found this urn necklace which was perfect for her since she was a black cat. It was sent in a very nice box with the tools, the personalized tag, and two chains. The only thing I would have added would be a tiny spoon or shovel of some kind so that the process is less messy

I had to put my first baby, the first cat I that has ever been mine as an adult, the first being to teach me responsibility to another living thing, to sleep on April 10, 2019. That was very difficult, and I am still not feeling right about it - I thought that I would have more than twelve years with my buddy before heart failure took his breath and sense of well-being. I wasnt sure of the right way to memorialize him, but as I was looking for a statue or stone I saw the urn necklaces. This particular one struck me immediately; it was perfect. This was exactly how he sat on me as he aged and became sicker. He would jump on my lap and put his front paws on either shoulder. I couldnt find a more perfect tribute! The necklace is very light, has enough room for a small quantity of ashes, and can be worn with most anything. When I dont wear it, I sit it upon his urn with his favorite toy (way back from when he was a kitten) and the necklace I bought my seven-year-old. I would say Id purchase this again in a heartbeat, but I really hope that I dont have to do that for quite some time now.

This is such a beautiful small charm, and it was extremely easy to fill. What I did was open the bag and roll it down for easy access to my cats ashes, then I unscrewed the back of the charm and put the funnel inside. I used the funnel to scoop up some ashes and poked it with the poker until it stopped filling. I pulled the funnel out and poured the rest back into the bag, screwed the charm shut, and tied the bag back up and put it into her wooden urn. Ill update if this discolors for any reason. I dont plan on wearing it in the shower as I want to avoid any chances of water getting into the ashes, so I hope it will last a long time.

At such an emotional time, it was something fun to remind my sister-in-laws of their mother, as she loved cats. Now to be honest, we haven’t emotionally been able to fill them, and we may not. The cat itself is a wonderful reminder.
