This copper speaker wire is excellent. The plastic is soft and pliable making it easy to use. Cheaper wire often has a harder plastic coating that I dont care for as much. The copper wire is composed of many very fine strands, which also helps its flexibility. It has a real quality feel to it. As far as it working, it works great. I am not an audiophile, but the speakers Ive used it on (two different sets) sound great. It is more expensive, but you get what you pay for. As a chemist, Im not sure about the 99.9 oxygen-free copper claim. Most copper metal is oxygen-free. High purity is important for better conduction.

Works great. I am completely satisfied. Note: this is hi-fi speaker wire. It is NOT rated for house high voltage electrical wiring. Speaker wire is low voltage. For speakers, it has several features: 1) Its very heavy, ie. 12 ga.; 2) It has multiple very fine strands that make if very flexible; 3) The insulation is thin enough to make it easy to handle. 4) Wire this heavy generally improves the performance of your speakers especially if they are a distance from your amplifier. 5) Its about the heaviest wire that still fits in banana plugs.

for the money its good,, but its not true 12g,,, buy 12g from knukonceptz on here on amazon,, youll laugh at the difference... its worth the extra 15 dollars for the real stuff... it is ofc,, it is flexible... like i said,, its not bad,,, its just not true 12g like they say it is...
