I used this wire for the speakers on the boat. It delivers clear crisp and loud sounds to the speakers. Since the wire is under the deck, I do not have to worry about it corroding.

Handles great, soft cover but strong enough to pull. Good quality and very good price for marine rated.

It is great speaker wire. It takes solder really quick and well. I tinned the strands with rosin core solder and rosin paste flux before I connected it to my speaker terminals and it is easy to work with. I had to argue with it to get it to flatten out, that is because it is wound on the spool too tight. Another problem, it does seem to be about 8 or 9 feet short on the spool.

Used this on our outdoor speakers to increase the distance between them. Worked perfectly, very easy to use and sound is great out of both speakers.

Me and a friend of mine (who works on marine electronics and wiring for a living) replaced the speakers on my boat recently. Discovered they had been installed with the cheap wiring that is included with the speakers when new. It was all rotted and corroded. Granted this is a marine saltwater environment. So anyway, I bought new replacement speakers which of course came with more of that same junk wiring, which we promptly threw away and instead we used this InstallGear marine-grade wire. My friend has been using this wire for years and hasn’t seen any instances where it has corroded. I highly recommend this wiring for your next project.
