Get a different cooler though as we all know the base coolers are not worth much. 12400 provides similar performance as 12600k and uses half the energy. You probably dont need 12600 unless youre multitasking heavy programs, 12400 is enough for streaming and gaming while recording gameplay and listening to music and having 10 tabs open on internet .

Upgraded a 2600K pc with this CPU, B660 board and 32GB of 3600mhz ram. It feels incredibly snappy now. With GPUs now costing your firstborn child, its nice that this upgrade boosted an aging gtx970 FPS by 5-15%. (@2560x1080) Gaming is also much smoother as low-FPS spikes are effectively non-existent now.

Lo adquiri a un bajo precio de segunda y el procesador va perfectoooo. Es muy rapido, maneja bajas temperaturas y para gaming y aplicaciones pesada va de sobra. muy recomendado

Yo tengo este Core y 5/12 generación con la tarjeta gráfica RTX 3060 12Gb edita todo en 4K a la máxima resolución con Renderizando videos que duran 10 minutos y se demoran 10 minutos.

Works just fine for a mid-tier 12th gen CPU.

I purchased this for use in a general use PC for a non-power user. This CPU may have been overkill for a basic PC but I suspect it will be workable for at least a decade or more. This CPU under a Noctua CPU cooler has been stable and reliable.
