25-04-2025When I saw this during the Prime Day deal, I thought it was something I had to buy on general principle, which I did. Thus far, the chip is fast, runs Win 11 well and runs all the games Ive tried on it easily. Also, Intel has some neat utilities where, if one were inclined, may tinker with the performance.

> 3 dayThis was my choice of processor for my build, and I dont regret the choice. I decided to forgo the usual 12400kf in favor of this and wasnt disappointed. There havent been any issues, and it stays nice and cool.

> 3 dayThe i5-12600K (K signifying that this is the desktop version) features a more generous turbo power bounds in addition to its desktop TDP, unlocked for overclocking, and included a single Intel sticker. This CPU is renowned among tech reviewers for its value while compromising only minimally in real world usage scenarios. If the i5 moniker is the “mainstream” product suitable for most users, the chip does not disappoint.
