Good Processor for gaming and helped my FPS by 25 on average.

I know theres probably faster CPUs out there, but damn this thing is quick. Ive never had it fall behind on anything really. I was running hackintosh mojave and had Android Studio and Xcode open while running pixel 3a and iphone 11 pro emulators and didnt experience any slow down

This cpu is fantastic! Battlefield 5, gtaV, and every other game I have thrown at this cpu hits 120fps easily with a gtx 1070 with all settings set to their highest values at 1080p at out of the box stock settings. As a matter of fact, I know its bottlenecking my 1070 hard. With an upgrade in gpu, I imagine mainting 120fps at 1440p wont be hard either. I am extremley satisfied with this product and am glad I chose the i5 over i7 or i9. I am sure content creators or people running hi res displays might want something stronger, but currently as of this review, I dont think spending any more on a cpu will net any noticeble boost in game performance at 1080p.

Che dire, è davvero performante. Adatto principalmente a chi si dedica al gaming. Costa un po’ di più del fratellino 8600k ed ha prestazioni simili, ma non mi posso lamentare di questo prodotto.

I have been building my own gaming pcs since 2011. In an effort to save a few $$, I opt to use the i5 vs the i7 and go for a higher end graphics card. While this may not be the optimal choice for most gamers, it has been a good working strategy for me.
