I have built out a decent work-from-home desktop rig. This processor paired with a GIgabyte motherboard has made quite the snappy machine for me. I dont do gaming, but I do VMs and a lot of multi-tasking across multiple concurrently active profiles. Great CPU.

I bought this on prime day for a steal and use it for gaming and so far so good.

I like this CPU for it was so fast at the time as a medium gamer. I dont understand at first the letter code after the model name that this CPU can be overclocked. Im not a heavy gamer so I does not bother me but maybe in the future Ill give it a try.

I picked the 10700kf for 264$ and what a great performer for the price. I switched from a ryzen 5 3600 because of stability issues. With AMD I have always had weird unexplained things happen with my computers. As expected, with the intel I have had no issues and this thing smokes my ryzen 5 system. Yeah...it consumes more power...but I really dont care.

A better processor than the Ryzen 7 3700x. However, I used to not prefer it because of its price. But on sale, ($ 289.99) best price / performance processor to buy

Got it at $264. amazing value. been away from the pc scene a while, but holy moly this thing is fast. paired with my rtx 3070 and runs games like a champ.

Not being able to afford an 11th gen chip, this will work just fine until I can. Of course, by then, Intel will be making 13th gen chips... What is bleeding edge today is tomorrows budget line. Go ahead and get it... it is still insanely fast as compared to what was around 10 years ago.
