Greater than one weekGot a bad one. Worked like crazy trying to figure out the issue and on board video was working some but not always. Sent it back and got another that works amazing. Water coolers dont have the correct spacer for this chip but I checked the website and got one for under 10. So factor that into your water cooling cost.

> 3 dayGreat cpu performs well but runs hotter. I have a good aio and it runs about 5 to 10 Celcius hotter than 9700k.

> 3 dayBelieve it or not, but under that huge cooler is the Intel Core i7-12700K processor. While I intend to later upgrade to discrete graphics, initially I am using the GPU that is internal to the processor. It was satisfying when I threw the switch the first time and everything just worked. The GPU was powerful enough to run some virtual world software that I use at a good frame rate. I believe I made the right choice in this processor.

> 3 dayI need a new PC mainly to process photos. I was considering AMD Ryzen 7 5800X when I read the benchmark for Intels 12th generation CPUs are better than the 5800X running Adobe software. But it has a bad reputation for hogging power. The attached screen shot shows that power consumption slightly exceed the TDP of 125W during Lightroom batch export. But to my surprise, once the export is finished, power consumption is very low, even less than my AMD 4800H based laptop. Background processing uses the more efficient E-cores.
