Sent this off to the Silicon Lottery the moment I got it. They delidded, applied liquid metal thermals, and benchmarked it for me. They sent it back with the OC settings to apply in my BIOS. Got it back and I run it at 5.1Ghz with a Corsair H150i cooler. Not going to bother linking benchmarks or temps, theres a million of them out there.

Dead after three weeks of gaming pc just shuts down don’t, my old 8350 amd is better and still runs this thing is junk I will never buy intel again

Amazing CPU. Especially have to love the pre-binning that went into the 8086K Limited Edition. Running with a 280mm AIO water cooler I get around 35C idle, and Im able to get a 5.1 GHz all-core overclock running stable at 75C in Aida64 CPU stress test with 1.35V. I couldnt ask for much better than that.

Bought this for a gaming build and obviously, I was not disappointed. Asus motherboard automatically overclocked it a bit, but to be perfectly honest I dont think I played many games that needed that much CPU power.

Eingebaut, Standarttakt belassen und einen Benchmark gestartet. Wow, geht diese CPU ab. Aber da habe ich doch schon was davon gehört, dass sich diese CPU so richtig heftig übertakten lässt. Also ran ans Werk:
