> 3 dayNon so come i lavoratori di Amazon possano fare simili idiozie. Hanno spedito una CPU dal valore superiore a 300€ in una piccola busta di cartone di quelle che solitamente usano per i dvd, libri o simili.

> 3 dayDefinitely a good CPU and it cant be beat for gaming but I cant say its value for money you are paying for the brand name here. And when it comes to core temps during high workloads it plain sucks on anything but high end coolers or AIO cooling unless you want thermal throttling. Just to expensive Intel! If you can afford it I would wait for 9th gen for better thermals. But if you are looking at price to performance AMDs Ryzen line up just has it beat right now and you can put the saving towards a better graphics card.

> 3 dayI just finished building a gaming & streaming PC for my son. I wanted the best Intel gaming processor available without going to the new i9 which still runs around $1000. This Intel Core i7-8086K Limited Edition Desktop Processor was exactly what I wanted. 6 cores & 12 threads. Its listed as 4 Ghz with 5 Ghz turbo, and I can confirm my ASUS PRIME Z370-A LGA1151 board had no issues setting the auto overclock to 5.2 Ghz for benchmarking & gaming. If you can afford this (currently @ $450ish on Amazon) you will not be disappointed. A+

Greater than one weekBeautifully fast. Very hot you need to make sure you have a good cooling set up. Personally I have a Corsair H100v2 with 4 Noctua NF-F12 iPPC 3000 PWMs in a push-pull configuration. Best choice I have ever made for my new build. Hottest I have seen under max constant load is 78C, compared to 87C with Corsairs H100v2 fans...

> 3 dayBest processor for gaming hands down. This processor is more than enough, unless you do some heavy multitasking theres no need to jump into the newer generation. Best bang for the buck.

> 3 dayI did try the 9700K, came back to the 8700K hyper thread processor, my applications were sluggish with the 9700K even overclocked to 5.0 ghz.
