Greater than one weekRuns great for games like fortnite, works great on minecraft too. In fortnite paired with a GTX 1660 Super you should run 240fps most of the time. Minecraft runs about 300-1200 fps

> 3 dayI wasnt sure if I needed an i7. The truth is, I probably dont. But damn it is fast. Easy to install to my MoBo. I used a Noctua cooler on it. Definitely would recommend this for a gaming setup.

> 3 dayAmazing cpu , fastest gaming cpu on the market . Beats 9900k in a lot of games due to hyper threading. Runs a tad warm so invest in a nice cpu cooler.

16-11-2024I had an old system with 2 CPUs with 2 cores each and at this time the machine was top notch (10 years ago). I am not gaming and the new processor is used for work. I ran some applications such as gimp in batch mode and I noticed that the execution time has been divided by 5 (almost one order of magnitude). Also, recompiling libraries with gcc is very fast and I have a feeling that the compilation time has also been divided significantly. Also, the motherboard and the CPU are much cooler than in the past (40 °C instead of 75 °C). I would recommend serious users to purchase such a CPU. However, I have a nagging question. What is happenings with Windows 10? Is this processor needed just to have a reasonable response time with this OS? However, on Linux, this processor is an overkill.
