> 24 hourIntel is picking up speed with these new cpus after the X-series hit the market, soon enough theyll have cpuss as good as the X-series at a much better value. I like this CPU a lot it can run through new installations, updates, and any other cpu heavy tasks like no other. Although it uses a lot of power, the extra speed feels worth the extra wattage used. I used this cpu to run console emulation and it does very well, I think it could do ok to run ps4 emulation but I hadnt tried it. Most games seem to run a bit faster than usual though, this can be a concern if you play games where you need quick timing/reaction speed like in first person shooters. It may be better to use a standard eight core or six core cpu if game speed is a concern. Overall Id give this item five stars, I cant wait to build a new Rocket Lake computer!

> 24 hourTo be fair, I upgraded from an i7-8700; this cpu is blazing fast and ive only ever gotten up to 80% usage running 3 intensive games at once. I do have one of those beefy Noctua dual fan coolers to keep temps low and stable ( 27°C idle, in general staying around 60°C), as this heats up fast. Make sure you get a proper cooler, as a standard heatsink single fan cooler was pushing 85°C at 35% usage.

> 24 hourSuch a powerful CPU. Good luck if you have poor or decent cooling system. My previous AIO wasnt able to cool this beast off, idle temp was 90°c!! So I got the NZXT Kraken x63 and now the idle temp is at 28-30°c. If you are thinking of getting this CPU I highly recommend investing in CPU cooling as well.

Fatal Mistake

> 24 hourBought this so I can overclock the processor is need be. Built my next gaming rig to replace my existing one I built back in 2007. This thing flies! No bench test yet phases it. And it has plenty of overhead to smash the competition. Those benchmarks dont lie. Pictures included in this review.

> 24 hourExcellent thermals and performance from the Cpu. Very easy to overclock - getting 5.2ghz stable with a 360mm AIO set to exhaust at 80c~ under load. A nice upgrade over my 8700k at 5.0ghz!
