This replaced a Dell i7 tower computer and runs rings around it! Dont let the small size fool you, this is a powerful computer in a small package. Added a thunderbolt to HDMI adapter in order to hook up my 3rd monitor and ran flawlessly. Cant recommend this enough!

I’d like to note that an NVME with a heat sink will not fit unless you remove the SATA bay. I have a 2TB nvme and 64GB RAM running Proxmox with several VMs on this thing.

This new generation NUC is very capable despite its small size, as a student, I found it is capable of doing all the daily tasks I need and play with video games. I live in a tiny dorm, Im glad there is only very little room occupied, and it is also relatively light so that I can take it with me if I need to. The two thunderbolts 4 ports are awesome since I need them a lot. Very fast shipping to me also, I would recommend it!

Had an initial issue with the windows hdr setting defaulting to on so graphics looked bad. Once I fixed that, it was great and graphics were beautiful. Games load fast. No lag playing diablo immortal with graphics maxed. Was skeptical but ended up loving it. It really is that small. I have small hands to give you a sense of scale. No heat build up. Performance plus tiny footprint is a winner. Customer service and tech support are excellent. Just added a screen shot of diablo iv. I was not sure how it would run but it is great and looks wonderful. I have most of the graphics settings on high.

My old win 10 machine died and I wanted win 11 pro so I got the NUC-12. What a surprise, the fastest machine I have ever owned. I upgraded to 64 gb of ram and typically run 1-2% cpu 10% ram and my disk chanels are swamped.The result of having 6gb hard disks on a 40 gb thunderbolt 4 port. Will be fixed soon and machine should perform as designed. A lesson for those who plan to attach old stuff to a new lightning fast workhorse in an amazingly small package.

My little NUC arrived as I took it out of the box, I noticed a rattle inside unit. OH NO!!! I am not saying unit would not work with the lose something inside, but why take that chance.

Love the kit, just turn it on and it is ready to go. Quick and quiet. Installed easily behind my monitor.

For me, this NUC 12 has been fantastic. I was immediately taken by how goodlooking and compact the packaging was when I first got the device. The intel really knows that how to hold something of a high caliber.

Installed Crucial RAM 32GB DDR4 3200MHz x2, SAMSUNG 980 PRO SSD 2TB PCIe NVMe Gen 4, SAMSUNG 870 EVO 4TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD and Transcend 512GB SATA TS512GMTS430S.

I got the unit as a bare-bones systems. I installed 64GB RAM and a 2 TB SATA drive. Ethernet was upgraded to 10GbE with the help of a thunderbolt 3 QNAP adapter. Performance is great with Windows 10, 11 and Ubuntu (22.10). The internal 2.5G Ethernet (intel i225-v) works just fine.
