Invisalign Aligners case, Black

When I was first given my aligners, I was given a regular retainer case. It was poorly made and wouldn’t stay closed, so I decided to look on Amazon for a better one and came across this one. At first, I was afraid by reading the reviews that it wouldn’t fit my SureSmile aligners, but once I received this product, it was perfect! It fit my aligners, even stacked a little on top of the other, and my chewies! I love how it magnetically closes, too! Great aligner case!

The aligners case was just what I hoped for. I dropped my case more than a handful of times on the ground and it didnt pop open. I had this case for almost 1.5 years before ordering a new one. Easy to clean!

This is the same as I got from my dentist with invisalign treatment. It is quite practical and finishing looks ok. It is made of plastic and rubber. I bought this as my original one from the dentist the rubber got some color changes (it got darker spots in the blue rubber), I think I did not keep it dry often enough, even if you leave it open upside down, if not on a drainer or dry towel a single water drop in contact with the rubber may help creating dark spots.

At first I really enjoyed this for my retainer. It looked nicer and cleaner than the plastic one I received when I was a teenager but after some traveling I realized it is awful for transportation. Before I put my retainer back in my case I always rinse it out so it’s never completely dry. But I always shake it before I put it in my case. And that liquid always seeps through my container so not great for traveling.

I like the idea of a bag to keep the brace container so nothing falls out.

I bought two of these, so I have 3 total in addition to the one that I got for free when I started. I keep one in the office and another one in my car. YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOULL NEED TO TAKE OUT YOUR ALIGNERS TO EAT. These provide the perfect, sanitary way of storing the aligners whenever I need to pop them out. Very appreciative of the generally solid build. The only flaw is that I wish there was a way to REALLY shut these close. Ive dropped my case on one on occasion (my hand to the ground, cant be more than 3 feet) and of course my aligners went flying when the case hit the ground. You cant tell it wouldnt stay shut though, so my fault for not being careful. No complaints other than the one flaw!

I’ve used the other original Invisalign case (the red and blue one) and a regular retainer case, and these don’t compare at all. This one is definitely the king. It’s slim making it easy to carry around, slip it into your pocket or put it in your purse without it taking up so much space. I’m pretty discreet with my Invisalign, so I value this a lot! Not as important, but it also looks a lot nicer than a typical retainer case. The magnetic closure is a game changer. With my old blue invisalign case, I liked how I just press the button to open it, but over time it got worn out and it would open on its own. With this case I can just throw it into my bag and not have to worry about my invisalign somehow escaping. I don’t know how, but the material inside this case also makes it faster for water to dry. Whenever I reopen it, I barely see any water where as other cases in the past would have small pools of water in them. I know that this seems a little pricey, considering that you typically would get a new case for free at an orthodontist/dentist office, but this is definitely worth the money.

These are much more stylish & slimmer than the ones the Orthos office provides. Easy to pop in my purse and keep my investment (Invisaligns) safe.
