> 24 hourI needed to add some holes to a belt, so I purchased this item. Was I amazed at the features of this punch! There is a rotary head which allow easy access to each of the punches. In addition, there is an adjustable stop which allows you to measure once and punch the same a series of holes in the same position without making a measurement at each step. The punch handle is very comfortable to use and allows you to use the punch with less fatigue. Also, I discovered that the punch is recommended for use with different material other than just leather belts, so I am sure that I will find more uses for the tool. I highly recommend this product!

> 24 hourThis leather hole punch feels very solid and heavy duty. The handle area opens nearly too wide for my small, female hands to grip unless it’s at least halfway closed. No instructions are included, which would have been helpful for me, since I’m new to this type of tool and since there are several places on it to make adjustments that I don’t necessarily understand intuitively. The single photo of instructions found here on the product page are still a little over my non-mechanical head, but they’re better than nothing. Still, I had to ask my husband to figure out how to make adjustments and even spin the main selection wheel. Now that I know how to adjust it, this tool is fairly easy for me to operate (other than the wide grip). You’ll want to learn to select the puncher you want, select the hole size the puncher will press thru, and adjust the spacer bar for uniformity. An included Allen Wrench is cleverly stored on the handle for making certain adjustments. I own a lot of leather chokers and fashion harnesses that can’t be tightened enough to properly fit me using the provided holes, so I was eager to make new holes safely and efficiently with this tool as opposed to attempting some creative, risky endeavor I might concoct otherwise. Thankfully, this item works perfectly, and I punched all the holes I was wanting to. I know I’ll need it again in the future, so I’m glad I’ll have it so readily available. Overall, this is a fantastic leather hole puncher (in my novice opinion) that only really needs some clear instructions and maybe some accommodation for smaller hands.

> 24 hourIt takes strength and a lot of squeezing pressure to punch holes in a quality mens leather belt, which typically has 2 layers of leather. All the punches I had bought in the past were not strong enough for the job and would bend out of shape very quickly. I had nearly given up, but decided to give this one a try thanks to Amazons return policy. But this one is a keeper. It is very well-made with sturdy metal parts. I punched 2 dozen clean holes in heavy leather belts with relative ease.

> 24 hourI’m super impressed by this leather punch! I have wimpy hands and thought I would struggle to use it. I grabbed the the thickest belt I could find to see how hard it would be to make an hole in it and was completely surprised to find it punched out the hole perfectly without any issues! There’s an adjustable guide to make sure your holes stay in alignment. It doesn’t come with instructions, but it’s pretty simple to use. It’s heavy duty and made of some type of metal/steel, so I don’t see it breaking anytime soon. I totally recommend!

> 24 hourIts not like I was looking for a leather punching tool. I already my fathers vintage leather punching tool like was sold in leather craft magazines and hadnt thought about upgrading until I saw this tool. First, I notice the angled cutters on each of the punches. Then I notice the ram effect for compound leverage. There is a throat depth adjustment of up to 20mm and a spring-loaded return-to-open handle. The largest hole size it will punch is 4.5mm. I dug out my old leather belt that is 3-4mm thick and punched a few holes. The prong of the buckle is too large to fit in that 4.5mm hole, so I punched another hole next to it to elongate the size of the hole and those 2 holes together allowed the prong to slide through the belt strap. Other belts had prongs small enough to easily fit a 4.5mm hole. The smallest hole size is 2.0mm, which I would explore for stitching holes. An adjustable anvil at the bottom of the stroke is rotated to accommodate each hole / punch size. It is adjusted with the hex key which is stored in the handle.

> 24 hourI was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hole punch. It seems very well made and sturdy. The jaws and punches are designed so that the rotating wheel is automatically centered when the punch is pressed down. The bottom plate is adjustable so it can match the selected hole size and be set to line up correctly with the punches as well. It also has an adjustable depth gauge and an adjustable stop to prevent the punch from opening too far and accidentally changing the selected punch. Perhaps other rotating punches have some of these same features, this is the first one Ive owned so I couldnt say - but I can say Im quite pleased with this one. I tested it on a small strip of tooling leather I had lying around and learned about all of its features. It makes holes of six different sizes - from 2.0mm to 4.5mm in increments of 0.5mm. Match the punch and bottom plate correctly and you can make some nice clean holes with this punch.

> 24 hourNice tool. Love the variety of sizes it has. I have one already but has been misplaced and needed another one. I have an Apple Watch and I want my son to wear it so I figured to go ahead and just hole punch into a band to endure a good fit. Plus I to make sure he doesn’t lose it. Great for wide variety of things.

> 24 hourThis punch came in a plain, recyclable box, with poly-foam padding (not recyclable). In some ways, this punch is much better than the cheap punch I purchased at a local hardware store several years ago. The V blades definitely make holes cleaner, and more easily than the straight style of my older one. While the depth guard makes it very handy to make consistently spaced holes, it also limits how deep the punch can go. Still, it should be fine for 90% of the belts out there. My only complaint is that it seems like a slightly complicated device in its different adjustment options. I figured it out (I think), but a set of illustrated directions is needed.
