I have wanted to do something about the excess of photos on my iPhone in iCloud. I prefer to take some and move them to my external drive, then if I want to delete I will. I will be getting more of these becasue of the adapters, and versatility. Also, with the iCloud, if I delete something it goes away forever in my experience, unless I am missing something. Another approach is to move the pohotos to the hard drive and delete the unwanted ones from there becasue you can drag and drop instead of doing it the hard way from the pohotos app. Another thing to consider, which is mentioned on the product page is that you will need a phone app if you are uising a certain operating system. Check it out. With these I can store the files in athe external drive and not delete them at all. This item fits wherever you have other small drives. It handles more than just photos. What a great idea that I am sure we have all had but someone made it for real and it is awesome. I can now easily take my stuff on my iphone and download it to this and that upload to a hard drive or my laptop. It is so easy now.

Color: 64GB-PINK. My husband had too many pictures on his iPhone and wanted to download them to an external device. He needed something simple, as Plug n Play as you can get, because he is not good with technology. The ALLBYT does the trick because there are no apps to download and no complicated instructions to follow. Just drag and drop. If he were more adventurous, he could plug the ALLBYT into his iPhone and have his photos stored automatically on the flash drive. For him, 64 GB is more than enough capacity. This flash drive is made of zinc, so it feels more sturdy than the plastic ones I have used in the past. In addition to multiple ports (phone, USB, micro USB, and Type C), the ALLBYT has a built-in rubber stylus that can be used for touch screens. Of no interest to us, but some folks might appreciate this feature.

This is good for quick bag-ups of individual files or app. It is easy to format. I formatted to APS (Apple File System). I wish that it has a cover for the USB specially the apple lightning connector portion to keep contacts clean when not in use. Otherwise it is a solid USB drive.

I got this handy device because I kept getting alerts that my iCloud storage was getting full. Even though I deleted a bunch of dupe and unneeded pix, it didn’t make that much difference. WhereI’m at with this process is I’ve downloaded the app so far. When I get some spare minutes I’m going to transfer most of my phone pix onto this little drive so my iCloud storage will go back up. I just don’t any to start paying extra for iCloud storage if I can avoid it. Just like anything else, will copy to yet another drive as well in case of failure.

Also, at least according to the manufactures claim, it improves the sensitivity of the stylus/touch screen interface. I cant verify that claim. I use this 64GB flash drive to transfer large media files between my laptop and a pair of Oppo universal players, as well as storing files for future play. Transfers of data have been accurate and reliable. Write speeds maxed out at 30.4MB/sec and average 24-28MB/sec. These are decent enough write speeds for my purposes, since accuracy and not speed is my main requirement. This flash drive has a metal shell made of a zinc alloy. It feels quite durable. During lengthy transfer sessions, the drive warms slightly but doesnt get hot, as some flash drives occasionally do. The 360° rotation design seems fairly stable, without a significant amount of wobble as I shift between connectors. Some of my multiport flash drives suffer from excessive instability when shifting between interfaces, but this one is solid. The price is a bit steep for a 64GB flash drive, but thats probably due to its zinc alloy shell. It feels durable enough to last for years with careful use. This is a nice versatile flash drive and a good overall value.
