I am not personally crazy about the outside texture and Im not sure I would have known that from the description. I prefer a smooth cover. the texture of this cover is difficult for me to describe. Id call it a smooth matte finish. It works for what I needed it. This is a high quality case that will protect the iPod for my grandkids to use. Thats all I needed.

Great case!! We had to cut one of the holes a bit bigger to attach the cord to our sounds system to it. It wouldnt go in all the way without cutting it.

Nice case, nice price. There is one problem, however, that can only be fixed by customizing the case a bit -- performing a little surgery. As supplied, the case does not allow a headphone jack to be properly plugged into the iPod.... to the point of getting that satisfying little click when the jack is firmly and completely inserted. Without complete insertion, the jack easily falls out. In order to accomplish complete insertion, one must cut away a small amount of the soft silicone inner case to enlarge the hole where the jack is inserted. It doesnt take much effort (5 minutes) and I used a small, very sharp pair of scissors, what are usually called cuticle scissors. After that, the jack fits perfectly into the iPod.

Nice quality case, however it doesn’t have a built in screen protector, which I was hoping for. I looked in the comments for this item but found nothing as to if there was a screen protector or not. Other than that, great case, fits perfect and arrived on time.

This case definitely does what its designed to do.

When I got it, it looked the same as my old one but with one difference its in 3 pieces. A back, front cover and a rubber piece. VERY sturdy! I love it! A winner!!
