This thing is perfect. I was half tempted to bite the bullet and get robot litter boxes, but this thing makes scooping a breeze. I do wish the handle were a bit sturdier. Time will tell how the foam holds up, but overall its great.

I used to have a small plastic scooper, and part of it cracked so it wasnt really usable anymore. I looked on Amazon, and although I saw several very nice looking ones in the $10-13 price range, I saw a couple cheap plastic ones from between $0.89 - $1.50. I was about to purchase one of those, as I figured it did the job just fine, but at the last minute, I decided... even if it does cost $12.95, which seems like a lot to spend on something so simple, I figured, even if it is expensive for what people usually spend on these, Ill just buy a nice one and never worry about it again... hence the saying buy once, cry once. And regardless of how expensive it is FOR a cat litter scooper, its not that much money either way. And its actually not expensive when you consider the thought and quality that has gone into making this product; it only seemed that way because Im used to using a cheap plastic one. After receiving it and using it... wow. I never thought a cat litter scooper would make me so happy! It makes cleaning out my cats litter box so much easier; I dont have to get so close to the box as its much larger, and its so strong and sturdy, and large, that I can clean the litter box in less than half the time as before. From now on, the box will stay consistently cleaner as I wont feel the need to put it off because of the hassle. Another reason I was going to buy a cheap one, is that I might be moving to a house soon, where my cat could do their business in the backyard, and I wouldnt need one at all anymore. But after using this, I figure... even if I only have a need for this for another couple of months, its already paid for itself! Also the fact that it is coated in the same teflon that cooking pans are made out of, is a big selling point. I havent had to clean it yet, but its nice to know that there wont be any issues with anything sticking to it too hard.

This is the first scoop I have experienced that feels good in my hand and does a good job. It is light weight , sturdy and just the right size and shape. The rounded corners are a plus and it is easy to clean. ~Only receiving 4 stars because my first one’s handle broke off the scoop after 3 years. Three years of solid service is good however and so I ordered another…delighted when it arrived today!

Cat presents have always been a problem to clean. The shovels made of plastic bend and are hard to clean. I have 4 cats in the house with 2 very large litter boxes that are cleaned every day. I clean the shovels outside every 2 days with a hose on the hard stream. Cleaning left over poop isnt a problem, bending or breaking cat shovels is never considered. I own 2 now, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs.

I’ve had cats for years. I’ve always used the cheap plastic scoopers until the other morning when I had one break on me. While looking to order a replacement, I came across this fine piece of craftsmanship. When it arrived and I pulled it out of the plastic, I had to take a moment to admire it. Talk about the Calphalon of litter scoopers! It appears to have a nice durable finish, a rubber padded grip that feels great in your hand, and it even comes with a holder! I love tools and so I can really appreciate the quality of this one. And after using this, I can honestly say that if I ever have the option, I will never use a cheapie plastic scooper again. If you’re here because all you’ve used are plastic ones, and want an upgrade, then do yourself a favor and get one already!

Everyone who has a cat should have this scooper. You will NEVER go back the plastic scoopers. This is the best thing I have ever bought for cat care, no exaggeration. Buy it! You won’t be sorry!

I love this scoop! The litter runs right through it without having to do the “shake” that always ended with clumping pieces falling back into the litter box. Not with this sucker! And I like the handle and the hanger as well. It’s heavier than the cheap plastic scoops so if you have arthritis or issues with your hands that may be an issue for you. Overall I highly recommend!

I really liked the plastic (I think ABS) scoop, however after a couple of months it snapped off at the handle. I was thankful that they made a similar design in aluminum, as I like the design of the grooves, size and weight. So far it has met all my requirements and deserves an outstanding rating.

I bought the same one long time ago and bought now exact same for other cat litter box in another room cause I really like this one. It is in light weight and has ergonomic handle, very comfortable. And it’s sturdy and do not scratch the plastic

I cant believe Im writing a review on this scooper but I am. This thing feels good when you are scooping and gets the job done fast and we all know thats what we want! Seriously though a great scooper and I did search for a good one. Dont hesitate on this buy.
