> 3 dayAll the needed parts, for a fantastic price. This works 100% on my Prusa i3 MK2.5S+, which Id just upgraded from a MK2/S. All the parts (magnets, ball bearing, sensor, harness, and screws) were included, which really saved me a lot of time sourcing that stuff. One thing: My sensor did not work, until I switched the white wire (on the 5 slot connector side) from pin 5 to pin 4, as others mentioned (and you can also google Prusa IR sensor pinout to verify!) Once I switched the white (sensor) wire from slot 5 to slot 4 in the connector, and plugged it in, it works 100%.

> 3 dayThe filament sensor works actually quite well, although there are some quirks in Marlin, that have to be fixed. They relate to the filament change. Logically you would use the unload feature to place a different color filament. If you do that in Marlin, youll be sorry. The firmware does not know how to continue and you may find the nozzle to continue half a mile above the object. However, if you use the extrude function, you may have better luck. Aside, the sensor does what it is supposed to do!

> 3 dayWas able to hook this up to my Duet board with ease. Works as it should, and fit an MK3S hotend.

> 3 dayI followed the instructions to upgrade the mk3 to mk3s and the s requires a shorter ptfe tube which is not included.

> 3 dayI am building a Prusa i3 MK3S by self-sourcing (rather than buying prusas kits) just for the fun and experience of buying, and selectively upgrading as I go alone - however, the MK3S extruder has a specific type of sensor and magnetic spring setup that would be prohibitive to try and piece-meal if it wasnt for this kit. Its absolutely perfect, and on testing, does exactly what it should. Five star!

> 3 dayThis part worked great. Print your own parts, keep all the screws and this is an identical upgrade to the original.

> 3 dayAt the end of the day this product works. My two big issues were that I was missing some long bolts(maybe I lost them). I was able to find them in the Prusa spare parts bag. The second was I used a black PETG. The sensor was not triggered by the PETG plastic flag. I ended up putting a small piece of metal duct tape on the PETG flag so the sensor would see it. Everything else worked like a dream. I am happy.

> 3 dayIt seems to be a good replacement for the original sensor that came in the printer. I installed it and fixed the false filament out errors.
