So the strands are individual not one garland with multiple drop downs. It was more labor intensive than I was expecting but it ended up looking great.

Easy to put up, packaged well to avoid tangling. I was worried it would look sparse but i ended up not even using all of the pieces for a birthday backdrop. Very satisfied.
