I didn’t realize how much I needed a new ironing board mat and cover until I pulled this one out of the package and compared it to my old, now very flat, one. This mat is a bit more than average thickness - though it seems a lot more compared to my old one. It has a shiny and smooth fabric for the cover which I like, and a vibrant blue color. I love the Velcro ties for tightening and holding it in place. Much better than those string ties of old. I suggest putting the narrow end on first. It goes on very easily that way, but not so easily if you start with the wide end. It feels nice when youre ironing and overall is a very nice cover - though I doubt it will make me enjoy ironing clothes. I’d love to know if there’s anything that can do that!

What a pretty print to make me smile when I’m ironing! More often than not, it’s the simplest things in life that keep me smiling, and this is one of those little things that will do it. I’m glad because who likes ironing? This is a well made, thick ironing board cover. It has a nicely stitched, elasticized edge that fits over my ironing board perfectly. At first I thought the bands across the bottom were elastic, and I was thinking, ‘Hmmm, will this work?’ It turns out they are clever Velcro strips that can be adjusted for an even better fit. After placing it on my board, I gave it a good ironing to get out the wrinkles - now I’m all ready for ironing a crisp white shirt for Spring. Perfectly beautiful.

This cover was easy to install and looks great. Elastic around the entire edge and two hook-and-loop straps keep it securely in place. The pad is a good thickness, giving a smooth but firm ironing surface. I also liked that this pad is made of felt instead of foam like my original pad. The $20 price seems reasonable for a good quality cover and pad. My 20 year old ironing board looks and works like new!

Great cover. Thicker than my last. Well made and fit perfectly. Definitely upgraded my ironing board. I like that it Velcros underneath even though it fits so well it doesnt really need the added Velcro but its a plus.

Ive been using a towel for ironing, but got this for my bachelorette chair. Its very thick, with a cover that feels like you can really use the iron on the highest and wettest settings without hurting it. Also has wrap around Velcro straps, to keep it in place.

I have not yet put this completely to the test. The material is very heavy duty and is lightly padded. The fit was snug, which is good. Lastly, the print is pleasant. Id say the print looks better in person. The pictures make it seem more busy than it really is in person. Im looking forward to using this cover for many years.
