> 24 hourWow. I wish I would have thought about getting these sooner when I first got my blink cameras. This thing is a life saver bc the lithium batteries needed to keep the blink cameras operational die so quickly especially if your camera is positioned in a high traffic area. I got my cameras in November 2020 and have probably replaced the batteries more than 5 times now. Super easy to install. It has rained since we got this cord and the cameras are still working perfectly. I’m so happy they came with zip ties and nail clips to hold the wires to the wall. Don’t waste your money on batteries! Get this cord!!

> 24 hourThe Blink cameras are price friendly. But the battery changing when they are mounted 14 feet off the ground was not good. Found these plug ins on Amazon…..(I stumbled on to them). We were able to fish them thru the building and plug them in. So nice not to worry about battery wear.

> 24 hourI have a camera pointed at a bird feeder. Birds, deer and rabbits kill the batteries quickly. This charger/cord solved that issue and has held up great. I do have a protective cover over outlet where charger is.

> 24 hourAlthough the first order only had 1 set when it was supposed to receive 2, Amazon credited me for the first order (THANK YOU!) and I took a chance ordering again from same vendor. The 2nd order had 2 sets as promised....very easy to install other than having to climb on a ladder.. They are working PERFECTLY! No longer have to change batteries!! YAY worked for the XT and the XT2 Blink cameras.

> 24 hourThe Blink outdoor camera charging cords were easy to install and do appear to be weatherproof. We’ve had cold, windy, wet. sleet-filled days this last week and the cords have given us no issues. The cords came with thoughtful additions - zip ties and little clips you can nail down. When we bought our Blink cameras I saw so many people complaining about battery life issues. If you have one installed on a tree, or some other odd situation, sure, I get it. The battery life description is misleading. But for anyone with an outdoor outlet anywhere near the camera, definitely plug them in. We have one in the back yard, about 60 feet from our house. The connection to that is this cord - extension cord - smart plug - outdoor outlet on house. The smart plug allows me to “reboot” the camera if it ever just stops working. It hasn’t yet, and if it doesn’t seem to ever need it I’ll remove that plug in the future. The charging cables allow you to not worry about batteries, not worry about reliability issues. They’ll definitely pay for themselves fairly quickly. Housings we bought for the cameras made it “impossible” to use these cords as they were just a bit too big for the hole in the back of the housing. Impossible, you say? Just Dremel a bit of a bigger hole through the housing til it fits. It takes about 20 seconds. Problem solved. UPDATE May 2020 One of the cords died at the USB plug (after testing I found both the plug and cord stopped working.) It looked like there was a short where the parts met. I emailed the company with a photo (this is 6 months after my purchase) and I literally had a new package of cords/plugs delivered two days later. (Which means I now have a spare pair, which is super great.) I bought some of those plastic capsules to keep the part where the plug part is outside to protect them more from the weather, in hopes that keeps them safer, but WOW. Great company service. Totally recommended products and company. Has my review been of help to you? If so, would you consider hitting the helpful button below? Id greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

> 24 hourBought this after I found out that the batteries in the cameras dont last years, they last 6 months. Got sick of climbing up the roof to change them. The flat design of this cord allowed me to feed it through a side window, close and most importantly lock the window. Absolutely loving the flat design. The cord fits tight in the camera. Im not worried about it falling out or water seeping in. Bonus for us handy folks. The cord fits between those short tack nails in your nail gun, so if you need to put the cord somewhere outside that will make it faster.

> 24 hourBeing flat makes it easier to fit the small cracks of a closed door to go from outside to inside.

> 24 hourIll ha e to wait until some rain but the connection to the camera seems to be snug and should be able to keep water out. Also, I will have to give it a year and see how the UV effects the cable so only time will tell. Otherwise it seems like a quality product and will do the trick.
