> 3 dayI have a 27in 4k LG that has HDMI, USB, and DisplayPort inputs. I have a MBP 16in. I tried the USB-C cable included with the monitor directly to the MBP thunderbolt to try to drive the monitor. I tried an HDMI cable included with the monitor connected through an Anker adaptor to thunderbolt on the computer to try to drive the monitor. Both options had limited success, with the Anker adaptor giving some serious problems. This iVANKY USB-C to HDMI adaptor worked to drive the monitor with all of its options fully accessible. It has a solid-feeling physical construction.

> 3 dayDrops out all the time. Was fine for about two months but what did I expect? Quality from China? Haha. Nope. Avoid. Buy the OEM from Apple if you want it to work.

> 3 dayThis docking station is a must have for steam deck. It charges at full speed and works great for me. I did test with open source timing software and found it probably only introduce 20ms latency which is really minimum for this kind of gaming applications. This product has a 4k60 HDMI output and I am using this for large size TV screen gaming. It also has USB C ports, ethernet port to fit different usages. I have tried to connect it with iPad Pro or Switch and it has no problem for charging or data transmission at all.

Greater than one weekThis cable was very reasonably priced and did exactly what I needed it to do. Have of my class is remote and half is in person. I needed to share the classroom with the remote learning students and make them feel like part of the class.

> 3 dayThe build quality of the doc is good; it’s solid and the power cable looks to be of high quality. It fits the Steam Deck nicely. The three stars is because it is not a good dock for the Asus ROG Ally. The angle on the dock is far enough back that the Ally’s front edge barely fits in the cradle. Additionally then cable is not long enough to plug into the Ally without causing extra “pull” on the power port. Lastly even with a 100+w adapter plugged in the Ally reports that it’s not getting sufficient power. This may be a Asus issue though. So it’s a yes for the Steam Deck but a no for the Asus Rog Ally.

> 3 dayAl principio cuando lo ensaye no me funciono a 60Hz, luego lo probé. en otro equipo con otro cable HDMI y si me funcionó, decidí entonces usar el mismo cable HDMI en el Macbook y me funciono perfectamente a 4k@60Hz asi que este producto es genial llevaba un tiempo buscandolo

05-06-2025Just got a MacBook for a work laptop, hooked up both of my regular monitors to it with these adapters and HDMI cables. Worked like a charm! I also realized that with a long enough cable, my phone and one of these adapters, I could play a mobile game on our big screen TV! How cool is that?

> 3 dayI bought this to connect my chromebook to my classroom tv. Any time I shift a window size everything garbles (size of windows, what is on which screen, etc...). So it is limited use, but does at least work to some extent.
