Greater than one weekGrowing up, we were an Ivory family like most New Yorkers. When aloe was added to the mix, this became a much better and improved product. The subtle scent, the skin moisturizing effects of aloe all add to a superior soap bar. Been using this for the past 10+ years. Moved to England (cant get it here) 8 years ago, and I always bring a 10 or 20-bar pack on the flight back. Dont leave home without it....

Always Looking for the Truth
> 3 dayI once read about a 94 year old man, whose mouth was in pristine condition. He was in World War II, and when the soldiers couldnt get toothpaste, they used Ivory soap to brush their teeth. His gums were pink and tight, and he did not have any dental decay. If he was between 17 and 20 when in the war, that means he used Ivory soap to brush his teeth for about 65 years! Am using it, and will update as time goes on.

> 3 dayI miss the larger bars though - the smaller bars lead to more waste.

> 3 dayVery hard to find and not for sure why. This is the only female gentle soap that does not irritate.. I have used this soap for years. There was a time when I could not find the Ivory until I found on Amazon. A+ on sensitive skin and an overall body soap

> 3 dayYou are traditional when it comes to body soap. You like Ivory. But Costco doesn’t sell it, which baffles and irritates you every time you check (because you know Costco’s inventory changes and you are an optimistic and traditional). The largest single amount sold by nearest store is a four-pack. This almost makes you laugh. What good are 4 bars when your family uses them up so quickly? How, you may ask? You know it is due to your teenagers and thus the truth will never be disclosed. But still you wonder why did you find one bar in the middle of its useable life broken into 12 chunky bits on the tub floor and who had the maniacal means to do this while showering? Why did you notice the impression of another bar, this one nearly brand new, on the bottom of the trash bag as you emptied the garbage? And why isn’t a kid emptying the trash instead of you *again*? A bar gets used to a splinter in record time and you again wonder: Did the same maniac use something to cut it into splinters after chopping up the earlier one or are both teenagers maniacs? (In your heart, you know they are, but parental denial, like Ivory Soap, floats.) Are they experimenting with Ivory Soap bars? Eating them? Using them in some unspeakable puberty-related way that you can’t even think about? No answers are coming, only more questions as you step into the shower and realize once again that only a thumbnail-sized bit remains to clean your overly large middle-aged body. You howl into the void and then buy this package. Tons of bars for the lowest price per bar you’ve found. So many bars that a few may remain after the teenagers have aged and been released into the wild to make their own way, with their own soap and bathroom trash. That hope is brighter than a brand new bar and bigger than the scraps of soap in your shower. It’s not everything, but it brings a bit of peace to one of life’s soapy challenges.

> 3 dayMy husband uses this soap more than I do but it’s a very mild, soft soap. Nothing bad to say!
