> 3 dayI have made a color gradiation of 66 hues from yellow thru blue to red using GreenerShades dye with silk. I tried to repeat in wool with this Jacquard kit. I was skeptical since the blue color name was turquoise, but Jacquard lists it on its website as a primary. Knowing that dyes dont necessarily color true, I took a chance. The 11 shades of yellow through blue made a gorgeous array of greens and turquoise. I should have known that turquoise had enough yellow in it that, when mixed dropwise with red, would make a lovely array of browns. I now have a beautiful afghan in those well-known rainbow colors of red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise and brown.

> 3 dayI used it to dye old hair extension feathers. The pigment is excellent, just a tiny amount was enough. Easy to use, no mess.

Greater than one weekFirst time using Acid dye. Have been getting very vibrant colors. Had to research more to be clear on instructions how to use this kind of dye. Good packaging. So far - getting results I need.

> 3 dayI needed red and the ad said it had red. It came with fuchsia and that isn’t RED! I didn’t need the other colors now but I will in the future. A disappointment. Ordered the red and got my yarn dyed with it!

> 3 dayI was not aware that that protein items (wool, etc) needed to be dyed with acid dye. I had curly wool locks that were natural white and wanted black. I used FAR less powder dye than recommended on the instructions/Jacquard website and still the wool did not absorb all of it so I have it in a jar to use again! Excellent deep color.

> 3 dayWhy are these dyes for Wool, silk, nylon and feathers. Since when are those fabrics meant to be acid washed. The dyes do not work on cotton, they will not acid wash your jeans.

> 3 dayThis would have been great if it actually came with Hot Fucshia, but it came with Fire Red instead. Im not returning it because its such a hassle and who knows if Ill get the right color the next time anyway, Im just ordering a jar of the right color. But beware, if you want fucshia, this may not be the right set for you.

> 3 dayThe primary colors are red, blue and yellow. This kit contains sun yellow, hot fuchsia, turquoise and jet black. If the kit had blue and red I could make the other colors. Sending it back and buying a kit from an Etsy store that has what I need for less. Appreciate that it has a small container of citric acid but white vinegar works just as well. Giving it three stars because of misleading the customer on the colors in the kit. Otherwise Jacquard is an excellent product.
