I’ve owned and consecutively used 4 in 25 years. They last the longest compared to the fancy alternatives I’ve owned. From ‘97 to ‘22 I keep going back to these

I had to get rid of my original Jansport from the early 2000s since the inside was shedding some funky worn down material. While I like all the pockets and space on the new version, they clearly don’t make them as sturdy and heavy-duty as they used to. Hoping this one holds up for at least half as long as my 20-year-old backpack did. But with the flimsy feeling material inside and out and the cheap zippers, I’m not counting on it.

Needed a new backpack for nursing school and so far this backpack has been great for it! I can keep all my lab supplies in one of the two big pockets. The other one I keep my laptop, notebooks, and folder. I stay organized with all the pockets. Also has a nice bottle holder on the side.

You may not care that the pocket layout has changed if you arent used to having your things in their allotted places. The one good improvement is that the mesh for the water bottle holder is now taller and stronger so your bottle wont fall out when its full and you are putting the back pack on. I would much prefer some more small compartments that all the big ones of this current design.

My son runs through bags very guickly but this bag is very strong and is lasting very long.

Great backpack for school, well made, strong stitches, lots of space inside. Special slot for the laptop. The only negative thing I can say is there’s only one water bottle holder on the side, I wish it was 2 water bottle holders on each side.

I had Jansport backpack for hauling large loads of books during school. It held up for years. Some folks I know have been doing the same thing and theirs held up, too. So I am returning to Jansport backpacks after trying some other brands.

This backpack has tons of pockets and a great sleeve/area for a laptop. I had a high end backpack that I have always worried someone would steal from the beach or pool because they wanted the backpack itself. This standard classic JanSport backpack is perfect to take to the pool or beach or school or to use as an overnight bag or carry on. I have only had it for a few months, but it seems super durable and sturdy. It is not a super exciting thing to review, but I have nothing but positive things to say about this classic backpack
