The tape is pretty thick, and I definitely know it wont tear. Like all tape, you just need to make sure your putting pressure down with JARLINKS tape too or else no, it wont stick buds LOL. I havent had any issues im aware of with probably almost 500+ customer orders fulfilled using this tape.

I received this tape today and jeez...this stuff smells like an East Texas chemical plant! You folks in Port Arthur or Westlake LA know what Im talking about. The chemical smell is overwhelming. This isnt something that smells like gasoline or lighter fluid. This is next level.

I like this tape for everyday use on my envelopes and packages. It fits easily and quickly into my dispenser. This thickness is hard to find but after using a thinner tape I will always use this one. It doesnt tear so easily. It gets messy when tape tears when trying to use. This is the tape to use! I would have liked 6 rolls but 12 will last a long time.

We ordered a 12-roll pack of Jarlink tape to make sure it worked for us before ordering a larger quantity -- it did. For our next order, we purchased a 36-roll pack. Unfortunately, the boxes we taped closed would not stay closed and we could see tape sticking up on all our boxes from across the room! :o( The 12-roll pack seemed clear; the 36-roll pack looked cloudy/bubbly. Not sure if the appearance affects the tapes adhesion but that was one difference we noticed. We returned the 36-roll pack and Amazon promptly sent us a replacement....which again looked cloudy/bubbly. That replacement pack worked less bad but not well enough to inspire confidence to buy this particular brand of tape again.

This tape peels apart more than name brand, so it’s hard to grab and peel the full layer at once when it’s stuck to the rest of the tape, if that makes sense. But for the most part it works well. The worst part about it for me is how bad it smells. It’s nauseating. I’ve never had an issue with tape before, but the moment I open the drawer it’s in I’m hit with the worst smell. I won’t buy it again for that reason

A good budget packing type overall. But compared to the Scotch Heavy Duty type, this one feels much thinner and lighter, and not as strong as the Scotch.

We were moving, so I needed a lot of packing tape. This product had a very high star rating from thousands of reviewers. Cant go wrong, I thought. I should have bought 3M or Duck brands. I wont make the mistake of trying to save a couple bucks on packing tape again.
