I like the way they came

I decided to get some test swatches since I wanted to try out some nail polish combinations without putting on and removing a lot of polish in a short time. Sometimes youll think of something and not want to remove the polish on your nails, but want to try out a technique or combination before it drops out of your mind. These work well and they definitely do the job. I also like that this comes with a ring that you can put the nail swatches on, if you find a combo or design that you like and want to keep it for reference purposes.

This is my first time with a product of this kind and I like them. I can easily judge the opacity of polish with these completely clear nails on a stick. Ive also noticed that I can easily see the difference between polish finishes, because the polishes are all being applied on an identical base. I am also able to note what brands/colors/holo toppers I used on each nail on each of the handles, in Sharpie! Great price, and the ring that holds them all together that is something I can open without endangering my nails!

I am a new gel nail convert, and it annoyed me that the bottles often do not show any indication of the color inside. These help a lot! The thing I did not anticipate is that because theyre clear, they have upsides and downsides. One upside for me is that I can see how many coats a polish really needs to become opaque; but the same upside is also a downside, because a persons fingernails are neither opaque nor transparent, so I dont think that this is a good indication of how the polish will look ON the finger. However, since they are transparent, holding them up to a finger (they are curved, so this is easy!) gives a really good indication of how it might look on the nail. So I overall think these are awesome! I used my Casio labermaker to label each stick. (I have a 9mm tape, if this helps anyone, and it works perfectly) Also great that it comes with a ring to put them all on. Highly recommend!

Love these for showing off all my gel colors. I like that you can put them over your nail to see what the color would look like. Super effective, cute and works great :)

I love the nail swatches I bought 2 they are perfect the only reason I didnt do 5 stars is because each set is supposed to have 2 sets of number stickers. One set came with 2 sets of stickers, the 2nd set didnt. Now if the seller wants to send me another set of stickers that I was supposed to get I will update my review but as of right now Im trying to figure out how to label the rest of my polish without the stickers I was expecting.

These are good basic swatches. I will say that some of the numbers got bent in the packaging and those are no good after that. Mostly they adhere fine though, and theres two of each number for creating an easy system.

For personal use I am not a professional. I like knowing at a glance what all my kiara sky nail dip colors and gel pots look like when applied. Its also good for practicing when I do my swatches. Here are some Modelones gel nail pot colors and my Kiara sky dip collection. I still have more to swatch it is oddly satisfying. The whitened blurry mess on some is from Acetone. Those are my mistakes and not the product. About half of them did come with blemishes that put me off at first until I realized I am just going to paint over it anyway and it doesnt even matter. (Minor visible scratches) I tried to get a photo of them but my camera didnt want to focus on shiny clear plastic lol All in all would definitely still recommend and buy again.
