JBL Charge 4 Waterproof Wireless Bluetooth Speaker Bundle with Portable Hard Case - Black

I love this new speaker, which is replacing an old favorite. The JBL gives great sound quality and fills the space with sound the way I like. I host and go to several events a year that require music, and I supply the speaker. This one more than meets the requirements. Excellent sound and long battery life. Nice job, JBL on this unit.

Good, hefty, pretty clear and pleasantly thumpy.... but kind of off balance like something was missing on the left side. After digging into some customer reviews I discovered this is a MONO speaker and that single speaker is on the right instead of the center. Even further reading showed that the model below it (Charge3) is a stereo speaker so sent it back and ordered the 3. So disappointed. Oddly enough JBL’s website doesn’t mention this fact in the specs.

Works great good battery life and easy to connect. Bonus you can connect multiple JBL speakers for more coverage.

I have already owned a Charge 3 for several years, and extremely pleased with its function and capability. This was a no brainer for me when I wanted a second one for another home. I believe both the sound and battery life are outstanding for these products. Additionally they are waterproof. Only difference is that the newer versions don’t automatically come with the block charger to plug in(you do receive the the cord), and I opted for this package which comes with the invaluable portable hard case which is great for storage and travel.

Bought this over the summer. Use it sparingly for camping etc. When it worked it was great. Charged it first time. Battery life was great. Last weekend it went dead. Have charged it for a week and the lights won’t go past the first light. It will not power on even when plugged in. When I go to the return page it says the return window has closed. If this is read by the vendor, please contact me for resolution. I will update if contacted, but in the meantime- buyer beware.

WOW what a wonderful speaker. Hooked up to my computer last night to watch a movie it had amazing. It was like being in a theater you could hear the small sounds water droplets. Love it!!!!!!

Great sound quality for the price - very loud (I’ve never turned it up more than 25% in my apartment). Sound is slightly bass-heavy. Treble could be kicked up a bit more, but a minor complaint. Also it should be noted this speaker is not omnidirectional.

Like the sound Quality

The Charge 4 is wonderful. Use it mostly at home or on jobsites and I’m glad I went with the Charge 4 over the Flip. Most expensive portable speaker I have owned by a lot but I’m super glad I got it.
