Sounds good on all frequencies. Goes very low without a sub.

My son takes this to the beach and he can spend all day there and listen to music and it keeps his phone charged as well. He says everyone likes it and appreciates having some music while they hangout and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather.

Sound quality is superior base is excellent so glad I bought this speaker,a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Battery last me a week to 2 weeks depending how high I turn the volume to.

I bought this because my first Gen charge was getting old ….I was expecting to get a something similar to my nine year old speaker …but the Charge 5 is a complete evolution to what had I thought I was going to get ….lol the package was so heavy I thought they accidentally packed the Extreme in the box instead of the charge ….the evolved charge is much larger than it’s first Gen counterparts ….I’m so happy I made this purchase. If you travel and want good sound this unit is for you.
